Description

Is it really true - only wineries can grow grapes? Of course not! They can be grown by anyone and are one of the most widely produced fruits in the world. There are, however, many different types of grapes with some more suitable in the home garden than others.
Marquis Seedless is a mid season, white seedless grape with large, spherical berries borne on large clusters. It has excellent flavor, good hardiness, and is best suited for home gardens. It was developed by a breeding program at Cornell University. Flowers of Marquis are self-fertile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the plants is in the ground and is growing. However, it’s too early to say whether it will produce grapes but there has been tremendous growth since planting it. The plant arrived in excellent condition and damage free. The instructions were easy to follow. A trellis or a fence will be needed as it grows. Looking forward to seeing my plant produce grapes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very excited to plant the Marquis Seedless Grape. The packaging was amazing keeping all of the roots protected. It has started already growing leaves from the vine prior to even planting it in the ground. We have the area picked out, supplies ready and can not wait to see what the results will be in the next couple of years. The plant itself and leaves look very healthy and happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shipping and packaging of this plant was done very well. Roots were kept moist and plant actually started to grow before I even planted in the ground. It took me some time to finally get this in the ground. This is the first time I am growing a grape plant. Purchased a trellis for the vines to grow onto. Growing and planting instructions are on the packaging around the plant. Very easy planting following the instructions. I am so looking forward to watching this plant grow and produce grapes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Marquis seedless green grapes are growing nicely! I planted into a large planter with extra potting soil about 2 weeks ago. Now it has grown almost 10 inches tall and is blooming out. My next step is to plant in my garden and provide a type of trelliss to grow on. My only concern is our rabbits and squirrels in the area, I must be vigilant and protect my grape plant, because I’m so eager to watch it grow and enjoy these succulent grapes!! Fingers crossed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to plant these grapes. However, it was difficult for me to plant. I don't think that it is going to grow well and I am overall disappointed with this plant. I was hoping for a lot of grapes but I am not going to get any.
