This Vanicream Unscented Gentle Facial Cleanser is a great choice for acne prone skin. It foams very well and is gentle. It’s a product I will continue to purchase.

I have used cleansers you get at the dermatologist and have paid over 50$ for a cleanser that did nothing. I always come back to this cleanser. I’m 61, it’s not drying, and what I love is it rinses clean, I don’t feel a residue on my face, I just feel clean.

This cleanser did nothing for me personally. I have eczema on the sides of my face but an oily t-zone and this didn’t help with either area. It wasn’t until I switched cleansers that I realized how little this one did for me. My face did not feel clean after washing with this product. I felt it didn’t really do any more than water does.

While the product description says Gentle Facial Cleanser it made me break out horrribly. It does not have an odor but it gave me horrible cystic acne for about 2 weeks during the time I was using it. Which cleared up as soon as I stopped using the product. Do not recommend maybe use as a hand soap or something else.

I’ve tried so many different drug store facial cleaners..I was even a hardcore cerave girly for a long time, but I never felt like any of them left my face clean. I finally went on a deep internet search and came across Vanicream. Tbh I’ve never heard of vanicream until that internet search and I decided to give it a try and I must say I am so happy to have found the best face wash for me. It has a nice lather and foam and it leaves my face feeling ACTUALLY clean without stripping it or leaving it feeling dry. I have sensitive skin and have never felt any burning or irritation using this product and I definitely appreciate that it is fragrance free! I also pair it with the facial moisturizer. I have not been this happy with skin care products in a long time. Give it a try! I hope you love it just as much as I do!

I read a review about this product shocking your hand/fingers when pumped and didn’t believe it.. I should have! I was shocked multiple times when pumping this into my hand. Weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced!? I did not apply this to my face and am throwing away! I’m sad because I’ve heard great things otherwise and I’m not sure if this is an issue with this batch or what but won’t be trying again.

This is a dupe for the La Roche Posay Gentle Foaming Moisturizing Wash at roughly half the price. No skin irritation whatsoever. Just get it, money well spent.

This is perfect for a daily facial cleanser for someone with eczema! I’m on my second bottle! It removes all my makeup and is not drying at all.

I had to double check that I had the right product because this is so different from what I’ve been using for years. It’s watery and barely foams, and acts more like a non foaming cleanser leaving a film on the skin. I’m hoping they return to their old formula that acted like a soap because I now have to find something else for my extremely sensitive skin. It also shocked me so badly when I first pumped it that I thought a piece of plastic broke off into my hand. That’s never happened before.

I bought this vanicream facial cleanser for the first time and when I picked it up and touched the blue pump top , it shocked me twice! much stronger than static electricity, it hurt! I purchased it anyway reasoning this can't happen again, because I have never received a painful shock from opening a plastic container. after I purchased It and brought it home, it happened 2 more times when I touched it! I threw it away!

I have dry acne prone skin. I had perioral dermatitis and a damaged skin barrier from all the different skincare I tried. Stopped everything and ONLY used this to wash my face and bam healed. No more breakouts, my skin isn't red. This stuff right here is a god send. Keep it simple when it comes to your skin! I use jojoba oil to moisturize after. Bam flawless skin
