The concept was there and I wanted to like it, but it’s blah. The ice cream itself tastes good. The stroopwafel is the part that is not good. You don’t taste the caramel and it tastes old, which I’m sure is caused by being frozen. It is also not crispy or chewy like typical stroopwafel.

Dangerously yummy
These are seriously so good! I understand the complaints about them being bland, but I would like to counter that by saying that they are actually just simple (and still very delicious). The ice cream is exactly the fluffy, mild ice cream you'd expect from a traditional ice cream sandwich. And the stroopwaffles are soft in the same way that ice cream sandwich crackers (yes, those soft wafers start as crunchy crackers!) soften over time from touching ice cream. They were definitely smaller than I was expecting (more like the size of a hockey puck), but honestly I think that's great because it means they're only 160 calories each. Could they probably use a little more fat and salt to reach perfection? Yes. But these are still very yummy!

Yes, they’re on the smaller side, but the flavor and texture are spot on. The stroopwafel stays soft (even frozen), with that gooey caramel layer and creamy ice cream in the middle….honestly, way better than I expected. I thought the waffle would be hard or dry, but it’s soft and chewy in the best way. Some people seem disappointed by the size, but come on…it’s quality over quantity here. Would I love a couple more in the box? Absolutely. Still, totally worth trying, and we’d 100% buy them again.
