About this item
Highlights
- We have combined a Zinc, Magnesium, and Aluminum coated steel with our award-winning and USDA approved AkzoNobel paint to develop a new material which we call VZ 2.0. The first material of its kind is 100% safe, eco friendly, with a long 20+ year life. VZ 2.0's exceptional performance has been verified at the Texas A&M National Corrosion & Materials Reliability Lab.
- No construction knowledge is required with our easy to use raised bed kits, which only require you to assemble the materials and tighten the fasteners; our raised planter beds feature an oval design with no sharp corners, along with heavy duty rubber edging to cover the edges providing protection from injury.
- At 17", the higher depth allows plenty of room for root systems to develop, better water drainage, and soil quality. It also eases the strain of bending down, one primary benefit of gardening in raised beds is that you don’t have to bend down quite as far when tending, weeding, or harvesting your plants.
- Innovative modular design with 9 possible configurations including 2' x 8', 5' x 5', 2' x 5', 3.5' x 6.5', 3.5' x 5', 2' x 3.5', 2' x 6.5', 3.5' x 3.5' and 2' x 2'.

The planter is easy to assemble and exactly as it appears on the Vego website. This is my 4th Vego planter and I'd buy another on - if I had room for it.

Versatility, beauty, and function. We set these up in the 5 foot square configuration to maximize square footage. Planted all companion plants and have easy access to all plants around the raised beds. They are beautiful and provide plenty of space for all our veggies. Will not disappoint.

Love the product. Was not super happy about how much plastic had to be peeled off though, would be great if you could have a non plastic protector for the panels

Why oh why is there SO MUCH TAPE and extraneous stickers on the outer box? We are told to use the cardboard to line the bottom but of course we can''t have plastics in the soil. Look at Amazon: they use paper based tape and it is easy to get off. I alsoI bought the 32* version some months ago. What a project for a 70 year old. . Same problem removing all the awful tape.

Perennial Garden Bed

We have a space near the porch that is simply un-tillable. Rocks, clay and tree roots. I decided to use a raised bed to put in a perennial border. Initially we were going to build our own planter box with cedar planks, but that was as expensive as the Vego bed and we’d still have to spend the time and effort to build it. So we found the Vego beds to be a reasonable alternative. My husband and I unboxed and put together our Vego planter as a two by eight foot raised bed. I placed it on top of the unsuitable dirt and filled the bed with new soil. I planted Lithodora and Rock Cress and hope they like their new home. It looks great!

At the beginning of my gardening journey two years ago, I bounced around what growing methods to try and what kind of bed to use. I first started off with a diy wooden bed. But over time, I didn’t like that it decomposed. Last fall, I got my first Vego bed and instantly loved the quality. I can say gladly that there isn’t any signs of rust or tarnish and my plants seem to growing perfectly. Just got myself two more to launch off this year :D
Just do it.

After moving to a new house, decided it was time to use a nice raised bed set up instead of my usual in-ground raised beds of the past. We chose the Novel Series in Modern Gray because it matched the Gray and Light Blue color of the house and looks great next to the house. Each bed took me and the kids around an hour to completely put together. Very well made and packaged nicely. Nothing was missing, or damaged. We set up two of the 9 in 1 beds. Filled the bottom half with some already rotting logs and sticks before filling the rest with our homemade soil mix. One thing I did when assembling was to install one bolt in the bottom and another in the top. I did this all the way around the bed, then made sure it was level and started putting the rest of the bolts in. Once everything was connected and square, we then went around and tightened all of the bolts. Just stated planting them, can't wait to see how they do this year. Plan is to order a other 6 over the next few years for a total of 8 beds. Four are 6. 5x3. 5 and Four are 3. 5x5. Might need to see of I can order just the corner pieces, since I will have enough extra straight pieces to make another bed.

We installed the Novel 17" high raised garden bed last year. It takes quite a bit of soil to fill up but once it is done, it is a great planting bed. It seems durable and hopefully will last many grow seasons. I hope to purchase another one soon.

My first vego purchase, and I’m so glad I made the investment over other cheaper options. Assembly was super easy, recommend using a power drill. Excited to see how these hold up this summer.
