Vego Garden Tall Modern Rectangular Raised Metal Outdoor Planter Box

Just got my new modern bed and I love it. It’s beautiful and was easy to assemble. ❤️

Sturdy and heavy duty beds. Super simple to put together. Great height and depth, I can reach well into the center. The midnight blue goes so well with the slate chips and the modern design is perfect to balance the natural elements of the plants. Very happy with these beds!

These are really sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. They seem like they should last well. I just put them in so need to see how they hold up. They are smooth and no rough edges which is very nice.

After only 8 years, my original cedar raised beds were disintegrating rapidly, just as my soil was rich and fabulous. I decided to replace the cedar with metal for the longevity, but was concerned about heat at the root level. The insulated metal boxes are the ideal solution. They assembled easily and look beautiful, giving a crisp contrast to my once again wildly flourishing vegetables, herbs and flowers. I’m counting on them for many years to come!

These were much nicer than I had expected. Assembly was quick and was able to get it placed simply. Knocking off 1 star as 1 of the inside panels was dented.

Nice quality but disappointed that one panel on the large box 83”x27”x 32” is discolored and doesn’t match the other panels. Nothing I can do now that it is all assembled.

Absolutely love the midnight blue beds! They are more of a charcoal gray than a navy. They are well built and easy to install. Takes about 20 minutes to put together. Hoping these beds will last a very long time!

I have experience putting together the original design for a school garden and the new Modern design is SO much easier to assemble than the original! Both the original and new versions are excellent quality and will last for many years to come. Vego won’t disappoint in the quality of any of the their products!

Love this raised bed! I wanted a raised bed for my bad back so I could garden without having to bend quite so much. The modern style feels sleek and classic, it was easy to put together and held up well the first summer. I think it should hold up well for many years to come. It did accidentally get scratched by the wheelbarrow when we were loading in dirt, but that’s on us and a towel on the edge while dumping dirt easily prevented any more damage. I like the idea of the double wall for insulation but have never had another raised bed to compare, so I can’t say how well it works. Planning to buy a couple more this year to expand our garden!

There are a 2 main reasons I decided to return this modern bed. I purchased 1 to plant my garlic for the fall in hopes that I could try one out and by several more next spring, I'm glad I only bought one (they only cover return shipping for one). 1. I live in Colorado and I started to assemble it in October on a sunny day. It was not hot out but the Colorado sun is strong. While putting it together the metal was already so HOT. I can only imagine how hot these will get in the summer. it is not safe for my dogs or any kids that might be around in the garden. This was my biggest concern. After reading reviews I didn't think it would be an issue. If you are in a place that gets lots of sun, these are not safe and I can't imagine they would be great for veggies either. 2. While assembling, I put down a panel onto dirt and when I went to pick it up, it was already scratched, from the dirt! This material is EASILY chipped and scratched. They look so nice but with everything going on in the garden, they will be scratched up within the first season. I had planned to put rock all around the beds and the would have most definitely ruined them, not to mention raking or shoveling in dirt, you'd have to be so careful. They saw these are more durable than wood and maybe structurally they are but not aesthetically. I don't understand how something this expensive could be so bad. And I also don't understand all the 5 star reviews. They are definitely pretty to look at but realistically I'm not sure how people can garden in these. Perhaps the traditional non modern beds are better but these modern beds will not work. I've decided to go back to cedar beds.

We bought one 53” modern raised bed and two 83” raised beds and we really like them! They are very easy to assemble and we got many compliments! We will definitely buy a few more!

Beautiful and functional. Easy to put together and place in the yard. I chose pieces that, together, create an English garden feel. The modern materials and color work well with my small historic home.

So far so good! Came together relatively easy with two people.
