We find it most useful in the backyard as they hold up well in the Brooklyn weather. Works well in the car as well (holding the trash can in place). Very simple and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If looking to securely hold something in place these ALFA-LOK fasteners by Velcro are definitely the way to go and they have a multitude of uses. I used the 3” x 1” strips for mounting stuff in my garage and they provided a strong hold. The strips are simple to use, and they adhered great to the wood in my garage. The fasteners are self-engaging, you just press both parts together firmly and they lock, they also can be used vertically or horizontally. I like that they hold up to 15lbs of weight for the size of the strips and I immediately thought of a hundred other things to use these for. I would most definitely buy and use these again and would recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pre-cut strips. They are the perfect size for many different projects around the house. I used two to hang some lightweight pictures. Because of velcro i was able to position and re-position until u achieved the look I wanted So far I haven't had any issues with the pictures staying up. I also used 4 of them to keep a wayward rug in place. They are perfect if you have a rug in a high traffic area near the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am slightly obsessed with these. I use zip ties often, and for everything. These are better than the traditional plastic zips, because you can readjust them. They are perfect for bundling electronic cords.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really works well.. I was able to hang a real heavy Kirkland bought wall art with these which a lot of wall adhesives failed to hold up. These feel good and the adhesion is strong. The weight rating is spot on and it could not get any better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alfa-lok fasteners can be used in a ton of different ways. I use it to hang wall decor out on my patio. I’ve also used them to mount hooks. They can be useful in a lot of different areas. Overall they’re great and work well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these strips before and love them. Right now, I needed them to for my highway quick pass on my car window. It easily attached to the window and to the quick pass responder. There are no male and female ends to these strips. Instead, they are all all the same and interlock into one another. They hold tight and do not lose their hold even when you pull them apart multiple times. My wife has used them to hold picture frames to the walls of her office, and they continue to hold over time. They hold up to 15lbs but we have only been brave enough to attach it to 5lbs and under items. If you don't want to measure and level out nails for heavy photos, this is a dream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strong and easy to use are the first things that jumped right at me using this Velcro bands. The snap together and apart easily. I did give 10 minutes before I started using them . the adhesive is strong ,so don't use it on a wall where you are worried about the paint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've ever used VELCRO, you know there's the VELvet part and the CROchet-hook part and that the hooks do the grabbing. They also love workout shirts, knits, and things like that, much to my dismay. Years ago, I worked for a major open-wheel racing series, and we used a VELCRO-like fastening system to hold the scoring transmitters in the cars, which have to survive lots of vibration and heat while remaining in the correct position. The fastening strips were different in that each "side" of it was much more rigid, had a super-sticky backing, and the little interlocking parts looked like tiny mushrooms! When pushed together, which takes a fairly firm effort, the "mushroom caps" on each side push the ones on the other aside until their flat undersides engage. I never knew where they got this stuff or who made it, but this is the same thing! If you have something you want to really lock down that won't come apart until you want it to, like an access panel, engine cover, etc. this will do the job. Some installation advice: make sure the surfaces are really clean and free of any dirt or oil; if they'll tolerate some 90% rubbing alcohol, it works great. The surfaces should be room temperature (~20 deg C/70 deg F) or so. Also, once applied, let it sit with no load for several minutes; it seems to work best that way.

They are very easy to use and require no hardware for application. These strips are the best I have ever used, they can safely bolster many items to multiple different surfaces weighing up to 15 pounds! This brand has certainly become the front runner for this specific type of product. I have already used them to hang pictures of my family on the living room wall, and I couldn’t be happier with how well they work!

We have holders for remotes for several items - heat, TV etc. We can mount the holders on the wall next to our bed with these strips without ruining the paint. Also work great to keep our dog cover in place in our SUV. Great product.

Easy to peel and stick and I like the Velcro has teeth to hold and secure the object. Both of my devices are secure and exactly where I need them to be.

I hang garden hand shovel to the wall with these. I use them to hang a small basket for my gardening gloves. The uses are endless. They stick and stay where you put them. I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this to hold down my rug into place and I must stay it is very strong. And I can always remove the plaque when cleaning the siding. I am pretty sure it would last so long because of the strong grip. I recommend this to all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are awesome. They're perfect for holding up heavier manipulatives on the desk or wall, so they don't fall as often and break. But we can move things anytime we want since it's just velcro. These really have some great strength to them and are perfect for my classroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This style of Velcro with the plastic connection tabs is very easy to use and you don't have to have one side Hook and the other side Loop as it is built in together. It does not matter which piece you place on the surface or the item you want to secure in a location. I have had problems in the past with contamination from grass, fabric or moisture on the hook portion not giving me as strong a hold as I wanted. It is very important to clean the surface as surface preparation is the key to making it work the best as designed. Also important is to read the small print as one you place the adhesive surface on an object you do not want to reposition it for 24 hours to maintain best adhesion. And not to place it on drywall or wall paper as it will probably come off with a layer of wall surface with it. The wide temperature range with water and UV resistance makes this a nice product to use in the shop, car or out building where the environment can be dynamic throughout the year.
