My husband wouldn’t let me use a curtain rod because he didn’t want me to make holes in the wood. (He wasn’t sold on the idea of an outside curtain). So I used this Velcro and couldn’t have been happier. It has been holding heavy black out curtains for a month now. I hung them on the inside so I don’t know how it would hold if it gets wet.

It holds up to 15 lbs but the light is less than 5. It's been extremely hot & so far the light is still on the side of my brick house.

Especially with all the kids' items and tools! We were even able to use these to assist with a small fix on the exterior net for the trampoline to hold it out of the way.

I have it holding up a street sign in the garage and it did it with no problem, but I'm not sure exactly how much weight it would handle. The adhesive on the back is extremely sticky and I have no doubts about my sign staying on the wall. I think this would be great for most any outdoor application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Velcro Brand Extreme Outdoor 4 inch by 2 inch Strips. Extreme is reliable and trustworthy. I always feel confident when using a Velcro Product. In this case, I was skeptical that it would hold my flower arrangement in place because of the elements. Happily, I was wrong! The arrangement has stayed in place despite heavy rain and winds. The glue holds up as well as the Velcro itself. I have also used it in my car to hold my GPS in place. Velcro has never let me down.

I have also used them on our solar pool cover roller to secure the straps. They’ve held up for years there, even with all of the sun, moisture and pressure from rolling the cover off the pool.

Since we have a brick house, I didn't think I would be able to hang it anywhere on the house. So I tried these Extreme Outdoor Velcro strips to hang on the outside of our house. It has been 2 weeks and it's still holding, I am hoping they will hold for a long time, but time will tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the outside extreme velcro patch, 4 in x 2 in to stabilize my water down pipe. It use to come off and slap against the house when the wind would blow. However, this patch fixed this problem, no more running outside to fix water drainage pipe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got two packs of the Velcro,one was strips and one was two sided, the strips I used for clamp wires together, the two sided I use to hang clips, both worked great. I would definitely use these again.
