VENUS Womens Twist Front Maxi Dress

Material is thick, stretchy knit. Dress is comfortable but way too hot for summer. Dress is well made and vibrant. I usually wear an XL but got a size L for future goals. The dress was so big that I should have got a M, not kidding!

I absolutely love this dress. It fits right in all the places I always struggle to have fit. Please offer more prints in this dress. I would definitely order more! Love the long sleeves to cover my arms and is tight high enough that doesn't cling to my belly. 6 stars!

Like the cut because it is comfortable, the sleeves add a little flirt and also the slit adds some shape. Perfect for trips, easy to pack. I like pieces that will be comfortable but also add some style

My experience this time around was not pleasant. I purchased this dress in the past, and loved it, so, whenever I saw it in my favorite color, red, I didn't hesitate to purchase it again. The fabric this time around is different, the "fit" was VERY different, I hated it. Called Venus, and after speaking to an agent, and later getting transferred to a supervisor, I was only able to get back purchase price & return shipping. Tony said "that is the chance you take when shopping online" I would have agreed to that if it was a new item to me, but not in my case. I have this dress already in a different color. Their inconsistency is not my fault. I absolutely LOVE shopping, but unfortunately, Venus will never again be on my list. I am athletic fit, 5'7" and 155 lbs, and, I look great. There is absolutely no reason why this dress should fit so badly, specially when the other one fits so good.

I purchased this dress in the Palm print. It is a pretty, versatile dress. The material does not seem to wrinkle easily, so will be great for travel. I am 5' 3" around 130 lbs and the XS fit great- the material is a little stretchy and hugs my curves, but doesn't accentuate my little "pooch". It is a bit on the longer side, but works well with 2-3 inch heels.

I'm normally a large but I ordered medium. I have one of this in another color, size large and it was big. I had to sew it in several places. The medium fits great. I'm 5'1", 155 lbs. the lenght is perfect. It hides bulges. I'm planning to buy this same one in another color. This is very comfortable, dressy and flattering.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. This is a wonderful dress for the price. Also, the regular small fit my 5'2" 138 lb. frame without dragging the ground 🙌🏼 perfect belly coverage as well. Would highly recommend.

Dress is figure flattering and so comfortable to wear. The twist in the front hides any tummy issues. Love the print, black and white.

I'm 5'11 and 175 pounds. This dress was perfect, little stretch in the fabric, and great length in me. It's a head turner when paired when paired with strappy sandals with any kind of heel.

I have this dress in two different prints, and while they aren't the best looking dresses, they are comfortable and look okay. I needed a red dress for an event, so I ordered this one. Like another reviewer said, it looks like something Grandma would wear to bed or around the house. The material is thin and shows every line and bump. It looks very cheap and tacky, but would make a decent Halloween costume. I bought the dress on a huge sale. I would not pay anywhere near full price for it.

I loved the fit of this dress but the color… I picked mystic I'm which looks burgundy in the pictures . But IRL it's orangey and looks like leopard print which I hate Reluctantly returning

I love this dress so much I have it in 4 prints! I'm 59 years old and not in the best shape I used to be, but have been trying to lose weight and exercise. I bought my first orange paisley print in large when I was at 5'4 and 170 almost 2 years ago. Since then I've lost 15 lbs and I'm down to 155 lbs and I've bought the medium in the black & white floral, the teal tropical floral, and the wine and tan design print that is most recent. I wear between a medium and large or close to a size 10/12, depending on the material and cut of the fabric. I am curvy and wear a 40c bra size. The material on this dress is a stretchy medium weight that I could wear 3/4 of the time here in San Diego. The sleeves flatter my arms by covering the upper arm flabbiness I have, the top accentuates my breasts while still being modest and creates a waistline while hiding my pooch, the slit in front shows a little leg, which mine are still toned and in good shape. I feel attractive and stylish while wearing this dress and will continue to buy more prints as they come out! I have washed these dresses on gentle in the wash and hang to dry or put on low by themselves in the dryer. They are easy to care for and don't wrinkle, so would be great to travel with! I've worn these dresses to dinner out in Vegas, a retirement party, Mother's Day brunch, and am bringing one to Maui for a nice dinner out.

I usually expect to hem the length with any Venus dress because I'm short (5'3"), but the length was actually okay. I did get the sleeves hemmed because I'm short and made it less robe-like. Mystic palm was the color. Auburn base with like pink palm pattern.
