Worst Shampoo/conditioner ever

Literally horrible, could not even bring myself to finish out bottle. Makes my hair appear greasy upon drying. gives like a weird texture to my hair as well. and although its always greasy its also fizzy, no matter what other product I put it.

READ EVERY ONE STAR REVIEW BEFORE BUYING

I bought this in March 2026 after using Google AI to find a dupe for Aveda Nutriplenish. I have fine hair strands but it's very thick/dense. I intended to alternate with the verb ghost set to save money but I like this shampoo and conditioner so much (scent, lather, conditioning on my ends) I have been using it almost every wash for the past 3 months. Long story short, it has made my scalp very dry, it's causing so much fallout I'm crying, and my hair has now become hard to comb through after washing. I thought the fallout was was from medication but I've had all my levels checked. I literally have visible balding spots on all the areas I concentrate on the most during shampooing. I just pray my hair grows back...I came here 6/15/26 to reread one star reviews and have realized my hairloss could be from Verb. Now I've written another one start review for you to read. Thanks for hanging with me. Just spend the money on Aveda...the hairloss isn't worth the savings.

Made My Hair Fallout

I have fine hair that tends to be dry and is also prone to grease. I really enjoyed this shampoo and conditioner at first, but overtime it made my hair so dry. I have switched to Routine shampoo and conditioner and now believe Verb was causing my hair to fall out. My breakage has been so much less since switching.

It’s done my hair wonders, it feels soft, and looks shiny and healthy! it can be hard to find shampoos that don’t dry out my scalp or make my hair have a ton of frizz- this shampoo has been great to me!

Makes my scalp feel great!

I suffer from a very difficult scalp and have dealt with build up and oil, or dry with dandruff and this shampoo is so lightweight and makes my hair REFRESHED. I use other products to help with my particular scalp issues but this is definitely one of the products I cannot live without. It also doesn’t dry out my hair like many other products.

Holy Grail

I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased this shampoo and conditioner in the last 12 months. This is probably my 3rd purchase of this size. It is a nice gentle shampoo with the ability to get my scalp and hair clean. It doesn't weigh down my hair, and I have even used it with my sew in extensions. Highly recommend if you've got fine, color treated hair!

Ghost shampoo & conditioner

Love the Ghost hair products !! Used Amika prior to switching - caused dry ends and greasy scalp - I was using a hydrating product for the dry ends.
