Description
What It Is: A travel-sized brightening toner for uneven skin tone, specifically dark spots and post-breakout marks. This exfoliating treatment features 5.8% of a four-acid complex containing natural skin-brighteners like kojic and azelaic acid, AHAs, and bearberry extract—an alternative to the powerful, but unsafe, hydroquinone—plus 0.6% vitamin C. It even offers some fringe benefits for troubled pores. It's gentle enough to use daily (no tingling feeling involved) and delivers visible tone and texture results.
How To Use: With a cotton pad, press down on the pump 2-3 times. Swipe pad saturated with the toner across clean, dry skin. Use on face and neck. Bonus points for chest. Use AM or PM after cleansing but before serum and moisturizer.
How To Recycle: Unscrew the pump cap, rinse out the bottle, and toss it in your recycling bin.* You can throw the entire pump (including the stem) in the trash.

For combined weekly usage, we recommend using the Doctor's Visit Instant Resurfacing Mask once a week (at night) and the Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Solution in the morning. Please end your morning skincare routine with a broad spectrum SPF, such as our Guards Up Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. DO NOT use your retinoid product in the morning, on the same night as your Doctor’s Visit Mask application, or after using the Weekend Glow Brightening Solution. If your skin is dryer than normal due to your retinoid usage, decrease the usage of both products till your skin gets accustomed to the retinoid. A: Hi Deedee, Weekend Glow does not come with a plastic seal. Vitamin C can sometimes have an off-putting smell. The good news is that this product is free of artificial fragrances, which can irritate some skin types. The results are worth it, so we hope that you'll continue to use it. :)

Q: Is it normal for this to have a fishy smell? It smells truly awful, but I'd be excited to see results if it works as promised... not sure if I should continue using this or if I got a bad batch?

I've only used this for about a week since I bought it. I noticed that my skin does seem brighter, but this product leaves a sticky residue on my skin that I am not crazy about. I really wanted to love this product as I heard some great things about this brand.

This is my go to face toner. My skin looks even and it really helped improved the pigment on my neck. Recently I started using it on my armpits and knees because there is darkening. To my surprise it evened out the skin! The product dries nicely, doesn’t leave my face dehydrated. It doesn’t smell bad anymore lol.

I started using the toner, mask and serum 2 months ago, I just added the moisturizer and face wash about a week ago. I use the mask about once a week and the other products about 2x/day. The Cetaphil face wash I used until I got the Versed face wash, and I still use in the shower. The Cetaphil moisturizer I used until I got the Versed moisturizer. The Elta UV restore I use on top of the moisturizer when I go outside. The Cetaphil mask I use maybe a couple times a month. My skin is incredibly oily, has always been acne prone and because I've picked at my face a lot, I have a lot of scars. I also have some melasma. I can't tell if the Versed products have made big improvements but they haven't made my skin worse and they feel good, so that's a win for me so far! I check ingredients for pore cloggers (now that I know that's a thing) and these products are all free of those, another big win! Collage pics: left is June, right is September. The smell is terrible but that’s not what this review is about… I do not have sensitive skin and have never had a negative reaction from using a product, but I’ve used this once and am now suffering with severe chemical rash all over my neck and face. It is miserable and I really hope it goes away soon. I would NOT advise anyone to purchase this product. It’s absolutely horrible!

Works well with my sensitive postpartum skin! I just hate the fishy smell it gives! Thankfully once dried it diminishes but yuck! Unsure if I’d buy again due to the smell and price 😐 I thought I had a bad bottle until I read others dealt with the same issue. But if you can look past that I’d say it works well!

Writing this review for those concerned about the smell! I bought the mini size a couple months ago to try this out first and it did smell awful like fish. I was satisfied with my results though, so I’d just hold my breath for a couple seconds. Finally used up the mini and bought this full size…no smell!! Not sure why there’s an inconsistency. Maybe it’s worth giving it a sniff in store lol. Tbh I’d use it even with a bad smell cause this stuff actually does what it says.

Gag!! I have no idea if this toner helps, it smells so strong of urine upon application I actually gagged. Nope! Find another product. The smell is highly offensive!
