The menthol is really strong and masks any semblance of a honey lemon flavor. Nonetheless, these work very well and very quickly on those "hair-trigger" coughs. They've helped me get back to sleep and make it through a workday without being an embarassment.

Necessary when needed!
I needed something stronger for a sore throat that lasted longer than chloraspetic spray. These have a MUCH stronger menthol dose (20mg), which is why many other reviews say “tastes gross”. They are stronger and I do still taste the honey/lemon. I’d rather have 2-3 of these in day, than 7-8 regular drops. They definitely give relief.

Immediate relief - the best find!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work on camera, so I have to talk for hours on end each day. So happy I found these Vicks Vapocool Severe Medicated Drops! The honey flavor with the powerful rush of Vicks kicking in (like it would the classic rub we are all used to) is so soothing, and they really help give immediate relief to my throat when the exhaustion hits. A must have each day.
