A: Currently, the FDA has not issued a final rule on gluten content in drug products. However, the product has been tested and falls below the <20 ppm gluten guidelines. We do not use gluten sources in any of the products made on the line to manufacture this product. In addition, we clean the manufacturing lines to meet FDA standards for drug products to minimize the risk of cross-contamination from other products made on the line.

THEY WORK. PERIOD!!
I don’t know about you, but when my throat hurts I want something to ease the pain.. I don’t care WHAT it tastes like as long as it helps. I absolutely LOVE these drops. They work!!! I don’t think the taste is intolerable and I’ve never had to spit one out. These used to be stronger and Vicks toned them down for the complainers. They should’ve kept them the same strength for those of us who want relief fast. If you don’t want something that works, might I suggest a “natural” lozenge that has yummy organic fruit juice in it and see how well that helps! Me?… I’m sticking with what works and gives me some relief. Please don’t ever stop making these sore throat drops!!!!

Don't buy them!
The menthol taste was wayyyy too strong, it felt like my eyes were burning. Like eating straight vapo rub. I could only tolerate the sensation/taste for 30 seconds before spitting them out. Waste of money and didn’t help my dry, sore throat!

Literally tastes like solid vaporub. I couldn’t tolerate one for more than a few seconds when I was sick & could not taste or smell. It burned my throat, which was already sore, & was just not at all palatable. Even without being able to taste the flavor! I tried one again after recovering & could oddly tolerate it better, probably because I could now taste a flavor in addition to menthol, but it’s still what I would call inedible. These might work for someone, but I will never purchase or take again.
