Not the same as the good old vaporub
It never occurred to me to check the ingredients list while buying as I assumed it would at least contain the essential ones like camphor, menthol, etc, but it has fragrance in it and the description only mentions about a cooling and moisturizing feeling on the skin. Most of the time I find even the good old vaporub light for my needs, I don’t understand what this one is good for! Disappointed.

Not as advertised.
It says “mess free” which the sole purpose of buying. However upon opening and applying on my chest, it melted and broke? It was a HUGE mess. It doesn’t feel like it’s Vicks at all. Very disappointed.

Stronger working-but major mess and clean up!
Real review-It’s stronger than normal Vicks’s but actually MUCH messier. The stick actually melts inside the tube and starts leaking out the bottom. And the stick does absorb into your skin so you eventually have to scrub the mess off! I like that it’s stronger but I’m not sure all the mess and cleanup is worth it. Crazy that it’s labeled as being in a stick with less touching but you have to clean up a lot.

It doesnt work
The peppermint oil is not strong enough. It doesn't smell after few seconds of opening the bottle.

Doesn’t have any of the ingredients other Vicks products has. Doesn’t smell the same and doesn’t work the same. Wish it wasn’t suggested with the others.

Hit or miss consistency
I first purchased this about a year ago and it was great. I don’t know if it was as effective as the traditional ointment, but it was easy to apply, mess-free, and did work. When my kids got sick while traveling, picking up another stick felt like a no brainer. Maybe it’s because the house where we’re staying doesn’t have AC, but the consistency is definitely different. It’s somehow both oily and crumbly, and definitely not mess-free. It’s helped my kids sleep more comfortably, though, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Unhappy purchaser
I did not like that while I was rubbing it it kept crumbling it sit not rub in smoothly like previous one I purchased. It felt like it was either to old or very dry. I did not like it and since I had already used it I don’t feel I should send it back.
