Description

Tylenol Cold + Flu Severe Day/Night Caplets provide temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms. The daytime caplets are formulated to loosen phlegm and temporarily relieve symptoms such as headache, sore throat, nasal congestion and cough. The Nighttime caplets help relieve runny nose and sneezing along with other symptoms such as headache, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, sinus congestion and pressure. Both multi‑symptom cold medicine formulas also temporarily reduce fever, providing relief when needed. This convenient combo pack contains 24 caplets with 16 Daytime caplets and 8 Nighttime caplets. Each medicine caplet contains 325 mg of acetaminophen, a pain reliever and fever reducer; 5 mg of phenylephrine HCl, a nasal decongestant; and 10 mg of dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant. The Daytime caplets also contain guaifenesin 200 mg, an expectorant to help loosen phlegm (mucus), while the Nighttime caplets contain chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, an antihistamine.

Uses

minor aches and pains, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, cough, sinus congestion and pressure, sneezing and runny nose, helps clear nasal passages, relieves cough to help you sleep, temporarily reduces fever., minor aches and pains, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, cough, helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive, temporarily reduces fever.

If you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor or pharmacist.,if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.,if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.

    Doesn't work at all for cold and flu symptoms

    If I were taking regular Tylenol, I would receive the same alleviation of my symptoms, which include cough, sore throat, and sinus congestion. That is to say, there is no relief. It’s so bad, that I’m wondering how long after the manufacture date it’s actually good. This has a manufacture date of 2023.

    I feel the daytime works better than the night tim

    I feel the daytime pill works really well. When I have to go into work sick I normally will take a dose of of the daytime. The nighttime I’m 50/50 on. Sometimes I feel it works and other times I don’t think it does. They are easy to take and don’t cost a whole lot.
