Description
Tylenol Cold + Flu Severe Day/Night Caplets provide temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms. The daytime caplets are formulated to loosen phlegm and temporarily relieve symptoms such as headache, sore throat, nasal congestion and cough. The Nighttime caplets help relieve runny nose and sneezing along with other symptoms such as headache, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, sinus congestion and pressure. Both formulas also temporarily reduce fever, for relief any time of the day. This convenient combo pack contains 24 caplets with 16 Daytime caplets and 8 Nighttime caplets. Each medicine caplet contains 325 mg of acetaminophen, a pain reliever and fever reducer; 5 mg of phenylephrine HCl, a nasal decongestant; and 10 mg of dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant. The Daytime caplets also contain guaifenesin 200 mg, an expectorant to help loosen phlegm (mucus), while the Nighttime caplets contain chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, an antihistamine.

Cold and flu season is upon us and this is another one I keep. Sometimes I switch up on which cold medicine I use and I really enjoy this one. It is very helpful with the body aches and fever. The taste is not bad.

The effectiveness of this is really great. I try not to take a ton of medicine, so Tylenol is like bringing out the big guns if I’m taking it. I feel so much better after taking it. I would recommend to friends and family.

I was on the hunt for a cold medicine after getting extremely sick. The cold got so bad I was dramatic & literally thought I was dying. It’s hard when all you are told to take is tylonel for everything while pregnant! I have 26 weeks pregnant and tried this & it worked amazing! I’m not 100% yet but it made such a significant difference within a few hours.

Within 48 hours of taking this I feel so much better. I actually feel great enough to get out of bed and cook. The only issue I encountered with this medicine was my nose and mouth getting super dry shortly after taking the medicine. Saline drops and chapstick have been my best friend.

Although listed by target as 'unflavored' these pills have an extremely nasty taste similar to envelope glue. The taste sticks in the mouth and is very hard to wash away.

Been through various flu variants, which helped keep the symptoms at bay. In most cases, on the 3rd day, my flu symptoms were gone, and in a couple of days, it helps to recuperate from aches and coughs.
