It is a moderately mild roast, not too dark. Just a splash of cream goes a long way with this cup. Would definitely recommend and is in high rotation in my home!

The flavor was robust and not watered down; you could almost use the pod twice with the amount of flavor you experience. The coffee had a smooth finish without an acid after taste. I drink mine black and it was a delightful experience.

The coffee has a balance of traditional dark roast with no bitter aftertaste. Victor Allen’s Italian Roast is my new go to coffee!!! I wish it came in more than a single serve because I can drink a whole pot of coffee and I go through a lot of pods!
