I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase and with the lack of transparency on Target’s marketplace. The listing makes it appear as if this item comes from a legitimate retailer, but it was actually shipped from someone’s apartment complex, not a verified distributor or warehouse. Had Target disclosed this, I would never have placed the order. The product I received appears counterfeit, the packaging, scent, and overall quality are clearly off, and now I’m stuck with an expensive item that I cannot return because of Target’s third party seller policies. This is extremely frustrating, and completely unacceptable for a major retailer to allow on their platform. Target needs to vet sellers like this more carefully and clearly disclose when items are fulfilled by unknown third party sources. Consumers deserve transparency and protection, not surprises and questionable merchandise. I will not purchase from this seller again, and Target should seriously reconsider allowing them on the site.
