If you aren’t the biggest fan of chunky salsa and can’t handle spice, this is great for you! I enjoy the flavor and it’s great to add to things. I do prefer the hot compared to this one but it’s still good!

Delicious with some quirks
Really good salsa - if you like Chili’s salsa, it’s a close comparison. Perfect consistency - smooth, not chunky. Tastes like fresh tangy tomatoes and spices. Only downside is it has a fairly short shelf life vs salsa’s packed with preservatives, so plan to eat within 5 days of opening. Also if you order for pickup and the associate the picks your items lets it sit outside the fridge too long, it may be spoiled on pickup and that sour flavors is jarring. Do a sniff test first and if the lid looks blown out, don’t consume.

Would never buy again 😩
Literally tastes like pureed tomatoes with a crap ton of cumin. You could just pour cumin seasoning from the bottle into your mouth and achieve the same flavor. Had high hopes as it looks fresh and tasty. Very disappointed.

The Vanilla of Salsas
Look folks, this stuff is mid-west Mex. It’s made in North Dakota by white people. It’s a homogenous blend of mostly tomatoes. Although they allegedly use jalapeños, there’s not a pepper or cilantro sprig in sight. Is it bland? Yes. But it tastes extremely fresh and is totally delicious. It’s so unassuming I’m considering using it as a base for cabbage rolls (if you know you know)

I usually like this salsa but the last two times I have purchased it, there have been issues. The last time it tasted carbonated. This time, it was leaking a little around the plastic seal and there was a strange looking mass on the top of the salsa. Might be a tomato or mold? Not sure. I’m not planning on trying it though!
