I would buy this again.
My Aunt turned me on to the Herdez green chili verde in the can. Her chicken enchiladas were the best I ever had. Now I love it and plan to incorporate it in many recipes. I just love when I find something new and tasty. I had never had tomatillos.

another favorite at our home
Guacamole Salsa Mild is another staple in our home. We love this product and often interchange the two. As with the Salsa Verde, we use on many dishes, in many ways.. My husband has been known to get a spoon and eat straight out of the bottle. Another delicious and quality product from Herdez!!!

absolute staple in our home
This product is a staple in our home, We make sure that there are extras in the pantry, because there are times when the supermarket shelf is empty. My wife jokes because there are virtually very few foods that I eat without this product. It has a clean vegetable taste that enhances almost everything, especially delicious with eggs, use as sub for gravy, put into polenta, smothered steak, hamburgers. We are health conscious and love the fact that there are no harmful additives or chemicals in the Salsa Verde. thank you, a satisfied customer

The worst salsa I've ever had
It's really bad. It was pure liquid. The liquid had no flavor

Closed I've found to authentic salsa verde
I'm very glad I found this product and decided to try it. Now I go out of my way to a different store from where I'm shopping just to buy this product as my regular grocery store does not carry it.

Herdez Roasted Salsa Verde Medium
I have used this product for years, on everything. I moved from the west coast to the east coast, and I have noticed that the flavor is different here. Not able to put my finger on it, maybe more cilantro. It is still the best jarred salsa verde in my opinion. I also love the Roasted Salsa Roja.

This used to be our favorite and they changed it
Why would you change something that was so perfect so disappointing ! This used to be the only green sauce we bought, but since the recipe was changed and the taste is not the same, we will not be buying this again.

Love this stuff!
I use it for so much, but my favorite use has been putting it on my fried eggs and avocado in the morning.

What happened?
This is my favorite salsa in the world! I've joked that I could sell it door to door. I've made extended family members into Herdez lovers. But I just opened a jar, and my mouth is ON FIRE. When compared side by side, the color is a little darker than the mild Herdez that was left in a jar I had in the fridge. (I just opened it 5 days ago.) Were the labels switched?

What changed? Last few jars have been watery and off.
We've loved Herdez green salsa for many years, but something is different in the last two months. We use it on eggs, tacos, quesadillas, with plain chips, etc. The salsa is now watery, and is more acidic / tart than in the past. The primary flavor is now the tartness, not the spice at all. Whatever changed, you need to change it back quick. We won't be buying again unless it improves.

I won't buy this again
i have always loved your salsas, but my last two purchases were jars half filled with water and devoid of flavor. Such a shame that you have gone greedy, thinking people wouldn't notice. I did. Shameful.

Mild is hotter than Medium??
Why is the mild so inconsistently spicy?? I cannot tolerate spicy things - hence why I buy mild. I bought two jars and it was so hot I couldn't eat more than a few chips with it. My husband who even likes spicy food couldn't tolerate it, it was so bad. The second jar was the same thing, and now I'm out the money as we can't eat these at all. With the economy the way it is, it really sucks to play roulette with salsa when you don't know what you're going to get each time you try to buy it. There's no reason the batch should vary THAT much and I guess I'm going to have to try to find a salsa that's similar to what your mild should be and used to be.

LOVE Herdez salsa, but the spice level is inconsistent
This is my absolute favorite store bought salsa- no vinegar taste and just delicious. BUT I never know what I will be getting when I open a jar of "mild"... sometimes it is the mild flavor I love, and other times it is EXTREMELY hot/spicy. It is frustrating that either the recipe or the labeling is not consistent. I just bought a "medium" salsa of this brand, tired of being burned by the mild, and it was actually the "mild" flavor I have grown to love. I will still buy this brand, but wish the labels were accurate.

I would never buy this salsa again.
Nothing is great about this product. My husband purchased it and wants us to use it all up before we can buy decent salsa again; consequently, I've never had salsa last this long because of the simple fact that I won't put it on my food. I abhor this salsa for the following reasons: The tomatoes taste like they came out of a can that has been sitting in someone's fridge for a week. The actual sauce in the salsa tastes like the cheapest can of condensed tomato soup I've ever tasted. Their is no other discernable flavor of spices in the jar. I'm a salsa enthusiast; I eat salsa the same way most people enjoy ketchup on more food than they should. Do not buy this brand if salsa. You deserve better.

No I would not purchase this item again
Hello My name is Kay I'm 22 years old, from San Diego I work overnight and don't make much considering my age. When I go food shopping, I make sure I spend my money wisely, and purchase items wisely and budget about $50 dollars towards all my grocer's. I'm mine own provider, for all aspects in my life, which I'm not here complain about. It is currently 1:02 am here In San Diego when I'm writing this, I tried calling the customer service number on the bottle but to my knowledge they Arnt open at this time So I'm writing this until the customer service line is open in the morning. I eat full meals around this time at night on my off days due to me used to my work schedule. As I went to go make a sandwich from a bottle i bought today (I have receipts) I was shocked to find unpleasant things in FULLY SEALED salsa bottle. I opened the bottle excited to add some heat to my sandwich and lost my apatite when I found a full strand of hair in a concealed fully sealed salsa bottle. I Know I'm just a small consumer to your big brand But, the little guys matter as well. Long week of working, plus putting in more hours trying to build a skill so I wouldn't have the same Job in the future is hard and I don't eat out, So it feels like I'm saving money, but finding hair in a sealed item just knocks me down, bad connotation when you're already trying to be positive, and just makes me want to just give up, when you're hungry. I attached some images here for proof. (please Respond So I can properly send photos) I believe the files are too much
