Not my favorite

I really like vimergy products overall but the omega 3 supplements don't settle well on my stomach. I do better taking them with a light meal so they digest faster otherwise Im burping up that fishy flavor for hours on end.

Thank you for your feedback. We normally recommend taking it at different times of the day, with or without food, and find that works. Some people may find it better to take their Vegan EPA DHA after a meal. Everyone's digestion varies, so that may not work for everyone. You may also store in the fridge which may help as well, however it is not necessary. It may be stored in a cool, dark place.

Sorry Probably the only bad review I will put here

I only give this 2 star because it didn't work for me. I hate giving 1 star reviews, especially to a great company like this. I love all the other products I have tried and use here. I would consistently burp fishy taste so I couldn't take it. I even put in refrigerator as mentioned by someone. I instead ordered Dr Fuhrman's Vegan EPA/DHA and it takes great like citrus. So maybe Vinergy could do something similar in the future in liquid form.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear the product did not work for you. Dietary products can affect eveyone differently. We often suggest storing our Vegan EPA DHA in the fridge which can help neutralize any taste. We don't use any Citric Acid, Fillers, Additives, or Natural Flavors.

Works For Me

I used to burp after taking this, but then started taking digestive enzymes with my food and now don't burp this at all! I noticed my skin improved after a month or so of taking this. My feet don't get cracked anymore. And my hands look better. I assume this is helping my brain but I also take MCT oil so it could be the combination of both. I have noticed my memory is better. I want to start giving this to my brother because he is showing beginning signs of arthritis and omega 3 is supposed to be good for joint health and lowering inflammation.

Protect your brain

I should be taking this more often. This is great for balancing mood and keeping my brain clear. I love that it is vegan and what the fish eat that make their oils so popular. Skip the fish and go to the source. I try to be on this daily. Great skin, clearer thinking, and no fish burps (I will say I have burped it but it’s not as gross- take it at night as heading to bed to avoid as much). This is a well worth it product. It is one of my five staple reorders (Vitamin C, L-Lysine, Zinc Immune, EPA/DHA, and Mgnesium Glycinate- I also regularly repurchase Nettle and B12).

Superb Omega Supplement

Take at night! Nursing Mama who loves these!

I love them! I am a plant based mom and nursing my little one, I know she is getting what she needs after taking these and all my other vimergy products. To all those saying the burbs and after taste is awful. Just take them at night before bed. They are fully digested by morning and never taste a thing! 💚 don’t give up the quality of this brand bc of that!

Superior product!

I love your product EPA DHA, there is no aftertaste which is really nice! I tried using flax seeds to get omega-3s, I even ground them up, but they bothered my stomach.

High Quality

The Vimergy Vegan EPA/DHA is perfect for me. I need the oil they provide since I am vegan at home and vegetarian when I go out. It's nice to know that Vimergy products are of high quality. I just wish they would use glass instead of plastic.

Still Tastes Like Fish Oil

I thought this would be a good way to get omega 3s without the fish taste. Wrong. Within in 3 minutes I had that god-awful fish oil taste in my mouth, I was nauseous and burped up the taste all day. I love Vimergy products but this one is not for me.

Thank you for your feedback. Instead of being derived from fish, it's derived from Algae oil, some people may smell or taste the algae. Storing in the fridge can mitigate any smell or taste.

Hasn't worked for me

I bought this a month ago and haven't enjoyed it. I only take 1 daily at dinnertime, and I get horrible algae-like burps plus upset stomach. I loe Vimergy products, but this hasn't worked for me.

Thank you for your feedback. Storing in the fridge can help mitigate any smell or taste. I can see we have only had a couple of other people report burping, and I am unsure how they resolved. We normally recommend taking it at different times of the day, with or without food, and find that works.

Helps with dry-eye and fishy taste is minimal

I was diagnosed with dry eye, and using the Vegan EPA/DHA has really helped tremendously! I got it for the omega 3's and everything else is bonus. I have seen other reviews mentioning the fishy burbs or taste after taking it. Its definitely there but subtle, but for me what I've been doing is staying upright for at least 30 minutes after I take it, and also having another supplement afterward to mask it some. I use Cats Claw and Lemon Balm after taking this one, but im sure anything would work. Those things seem to help and haven't had much of an issue with the fishy aspect. Worth it!

Clean Oil for me & my dog!

I take this daily & also give 1 cap to my 67 lb dog. Most fish oil supplements for dogs have higher mercury content than those for people. It's a comfort to know I'm taking & giving her the best.

I have been taking these for a while and even though they do have a little bit of fishy taste, (which is normal in this type of supplement) the taste is not strong, which is great.
