In this book, Vinny the Kitty studies his special tomato of the crop. He recalls the growing season and feels proud of himself for his harvest. He's taken great pride in planting the seeds, watching the plants grow, and enjoying the fruits of his labor. There's only one tomato left and he must decide how best to enjoy it... there are so many possibilities. Perhaps he'll make a spaghetti sauce, or chop the tomato up and add it to a salad?
What's best for his unique, juicy-looking tomato? Vinny the Kitty ponders his choices and considers some other creative ventures, too, such as painting a picture of it, taking it with him on a trip to the zoo, or even around the world! He also considers what might happen to the tomato - a seal at the zoo eating it? Vinny the Kitty decides to take a break and have a catnap, hoping to dream up some more extravagant ideas, rather than the somewhat boring ones he'd come up with so far. About the Author

"Handwritten thank you letters is a lost art. I love writing thank you letters by hand. It's a genuine response of gratitude and lets the receiver know you truly appreciate their kindness." April Iliano published her first children's picture book at the age of 50. She discovered her love of writing at 11 when she was assigned to write a Thanksgiving paragraph that turned into a one-page story at school, but it wasn't until her forties that April began her journey to becoming a published author. When she isn't writing or working, she enjoys volunteering in her community, crafting, baking, reading novels, and watching movies. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and her kitty, Vinny, her inspiration. April lives on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio in the quaint little village of Old Brooklyn with her boyfriend, and their two cats, Fluffy and Vinny.
