Please dont give them any of your money
Attempted to redeem my e gift card and not one purchase was successful. Contacted the gift card customer service number, said my card was “compromised” when I was the only one who had attempted to use it online. An investigation was opened by customer service which can take 45-90 days, no answers as to how they’re going to reimburse me for the money they’re holding. Actually in shock Target would allow this to continue, based on reviews by customers, there is clearly sketchy issues with this product.

I bought 5 gift cards for Mother’s Day gifts and all of them were compromised!! Numbers on the back of the card were scraped off making them unusable. I was very disappointed when I found out! This is unacceptable target!!

When I ordered the card the delivery date was the 19th. Now it says the original order date was the 22nd, it wasn’t! Had it said the 22nd I would not have ordered it since I need it before then!

Target sells Fraud cards that look sealed and does not help after they sell it to you
Got a card that was sealed but when opened it the security code and last digits of card had been scratched off. Target does not help you at all even tho they are selling fraud cards. DO NOT BUY. The contact number on the back of card packaging has no option to talk with anyone. Filled out a complaint online but heard nothing back. NEVER BUY

Do Not Buy – Damaged Security Code

Awful card awful customer service
Horrible! I was also scammed as well out of two of these cards. DO NOT ever buy!! I had to deal with the visa gift card customer service and they were awful. They told me to call back in 2 weeks to see if they will re issue me a new card

My son just received his gift card that we sent to him and the last 4 numbers on the card is scratched off and the pin # was already scratched off. You cant even find out if the money is still on the card because you need the account number which is missing the last 4. And you can’t report an issue either . Not without the entire account #! SCAM!!!! And this isn’t a 1 star rating . It’s a “0”’star rating . They force you to add at last one star .

It’s a scam . They take your balance they claim they will send a check 3 weeks later. They claim when you check the balance it goes to another site that’s why they put it on hold . They also ask for proof of address. They make you go through hoops … don’t buy the bank that issue is in India customer service

Visa gift card theft
Scammed out of $50 bucks at Target in Santa Clarita off Golden Valley gifted for Christmas nephew opened it and it had been tampered with someone stole the information and put it back in the package waiting for activation I will never buy gift cards from any target again on top of that the cashier was the most unpleasant worker was complaining about her job, this store has a huge problem with lines and ungrateful workers

Listen to other reviews! A complete scam. Last 4 digits of the card number and the CVV both scratched off. I’ve called 5 different “customer service” numbers and been given the runaround. Still on hold with Corporate Target. I WILL be getting my money back I’ll be sure of that.

I purchased 3 of these specific gift cards and all 3 were damaged with the last four card numbers scratched off and the security code scratched off as well. A complete scam that target can’t help with. Scammed out of $150 dollars.
