A: Depth to the lowest setting is 21 5/8" (52.5cm). You will require 10.0 cubic feet (283.7 liters) of soil. (10 bags).

A: The planter does not have drainage holes. The floor braces allow for water drainage.

Please note it has is an adjustable false bottom: floorboards can be placed at a depth of either 8 5/8" (22.1cm), 14 5/8" (37.3cm) or 21 5/8" (52.5cm). Choose your depth based on what you will be planting to save on time and soil needed to fill the planter.

Q: Is this planter substantial enough to plant bamboo in given how invasive and tough bamboo roots are?

A: Hello there. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. We would not recommend planting bamboo in our planters, they are best suited for the ground for the reasons that you have mentioned.

A: The Large Parklette is purchased with no pots. It does have a false bottom that will allow you to place pots inside if you wish. This planter is covered by our ten year warranty and you will never have to paint it or stain it.

Attractive planters for a patio. I constructed two to provide a divide in my patio. The pieces are manageable alone, but the box with all are heavy. Plants did well over the Summer season.

Doesn't last a season. The boards bow out and eventually the bottom collapses.

Have this on the back porch to hide the a/c unit and with tall grasses in it, helps to buffer the noise. Easy to put together and looks sharp with patio furniture.
