Thich Nhat Hanh was a Vietnamese Zen master and one of the most important spiritual teachers of our time. Exiled from Vietnam in 1966 for promoting peace, his teachings on Buddhism as a path to social and political transformation are responsible for the mindfulness movement reaching Western culture.
