Second, once set up, it’s just fun! We hooked ours to Alexa so now we can tel Alexa to shut off the office lamp! Now I need a few more of them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wifi smart plug has been convenient for devices that we want to be able to control without having to unplug them. You can easily control the plug and devices right from your phone! I gave 4 stars only because the setup of the device wasn’t as easy or straight forward as I feel it should/could have been. But other than that, it does what a smart plug should do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted so bad for this to work but after many attempts to try to connect it to the WiFi it still would not connect. I thought this would be a great product to use for the crockpot. But I didn’t have any luck. I attached a photo of the trouble getting it to connect. I don’t know if mine is defective or what.

The set-up is easy and quick, and is wireless so as long as a person has a WiFi connection you are good to go. I can operate any plugged in appliance with my connected device. I like using the plug on my lights in the house, helps everything lit up after dark. I would definitely recommend Vivitar WiFi smart plugs to anyone wanting a easy and safe way to control their appliances in a very convenient way.
