Vornado ATOM 1 Small Oscillating TowerFan Black: Quiet Electric Desk Fan, 4 Speeds, Indoor Use, 100-300 sq. ft. Coverage

I bought two of this model about a month ago--one for at home and one for the kitchen where I work. It's been a godsend! At present, my home model is sitting 8-10 feet away from me, and the strength is consistent enough that after almost a month of almost constant running, it's still got a lot of power behind it. Perfect for this heat wave. Minor complaint that I had to trade one back in because the motor was making a constant squeaking noise when powered on, but none of the other examples of this model that I've used have had that issue.

I really like it. Works really well for a small fan.

I bought this over others because the details in the write-up led me to believe it was made in the U.S. It definitely is not. I bought this for my husband to use at work, so I have no idea how well it works and cannot speak to the quality.

I've gone through two of them now. They start getting loud and break quickly after 1 - 2 years of use.

Had it since May and it’s dead now and I can’t even return It.

This was a great fan until it broke. Really irritating to spend $50 on a fan to have it break in only a couple months

I love this tan! I’m always hot in my office and this tan was perfect. It can sit on my desk without taking up too much room, it’s quiet, and it’s completely customizable. Other people in my office now want one!

Moves as much air or more as a fan 6 inch in diameter. The 360 degree oscillating option is fantastic, oscillating can be customized to your liking

I purchase a variety of Vornado products and I am with them all. The oscillating fan is a perfect fan for my bedroom. Quiet and powerful.

Control and rotation of air flow is easy

Great little fan. Settings 1 & 2 are so quiet and move a surprising amount of air. I'd like another setting between 2 & 3 but they are still very good balance of air flow/ noise. Setting 4 becomes a little noisy for everyday use but it moves an absurd amount of air for such a little fan. Great quality build which doesn't surprise me coming from vornado. My 1 complaint is that it doesn't have a timer! All and all its a great product.

We own a teeny tiny shop that gets VERY hot in the summer. I was able to place two of these on our counters without compromising much space and they are FANtastic. Sorry.

Thought this would be great for the desk. Few issues with this. 1. The section where the air comes back shoots only one way, so the majority of the fan has zero air flow at all. Nada, nothing so you have to just hope the breeze comes back soon, which is part of the next issue 2. the control for the oscillating is terrible. There is no 360, no matter what I tried it went most of the way and stopped, not stopped and went back, just stopped, no more turning at all. If i had it pointing at me and just wanted a partial circle from that spot it would spin all the way around and go the other direction, again tried many times to fiddle and no luck 3. Oscillating itself is not good. It stops then starts again as if it had its own mind. All in all, I would take one with better controls and a wider airflow over this anytime. I probably will never take it back, so I will just keep trying to use it until it ends up in the garage forever.

Big things come in small packages, as the power behind this fan leaves nothing to be desired! It also oscillates, which is so nice during the summer months in Texas. I highly recommend this little fan with big power!

It took a week for the fan to stop rattling and squeaking. The controls aren't very intuitive and I wish the fan speed controls light up. I have to turn on the light to see them. It works fine but it definitely doesn't feel like the quality of my other Vornado fans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tower oscillating tower circulator (fan) is like a cool breeze on a hot day. I have it located next to my work/hobby area. The adjustable degree of oscillation makes it easy to get the flow of air right where I want it and limit it to where I do not. The fan is so very quiet that I often have to look at the lighted elements on the top to see if I left it on. The one that I got is 10" high. I know that it comes in a larger model, but this is perfect for spot cooling and ventilating. I often want to create a flow of air over my work surface to rid it of odors, smoke or vapors from glues, sanding or soldering or just to cool off and ventilate the space. This is the perfect fan for that

This fan is super good. The variable motor makes it perfect for sitting on my office desk. It is compact so it takes little room. The oscillation control is what makes it really nice. Very modern. And quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pretty small so real easy to store in your close. it does pack a powerful breeze for how small it is. I wouldn't rely on this being your only source of AC but it does work well. doesn't make too much noise.

Its going back. Sadly disappointed, doesn’t come close to matching performance of my two other Vornados. Poor air flow except on highest speed which is noisy. Even then, the airflow isn’t great, just marginally acceptable. The goofy touch top for fan speed and degree of oscillation is a gimmick….whats the point or benefit over a switch? No thanks.
