Vornado Velocity 1R Personal SpaceHeater with 2 Heat Settings and Advanced Safety Features: Electric Fan, 750W, ETL Listed

I like the automated features, but don’t like the noise it makes until it warms up. My older personal Vornado heater fan runs much quieter.

This product worked fine for roughly one week but now it just blows cool air regardless of what the setting is on.

Easy to carry, easy to use. Give off good amount of heat for its size.

I have owned four Vornado heaters/fans, in the last fourteen years. Vornado gives me the satisfaction I am looking for. Hot or Cold weather Vornado takes care of me.

I have vornado stand fans all over my house. But I’m so disappointed with this heater. It makes so much noise and nothing you do changes that. It’s not the fan in it…the noise is vibration of the outside cover. I can’t believe I paid the amount of money I did for this. And I followed all of the initial setup instructions and tested the fan…it started after I had already disposed of the box. Otherwise I would have returned it!

It comes with 2 heat settings (low and high). My favorite feature has to be the 4-hour timer, not only is that helpful when it comes to safety, but, it is great to consume energy too. Only reason it I did not give it 5 stars is because it is not as quiet as I would like (coming from a light sleeper).

Luckily this little gem of a heater made it my way and works so well. It heats my spacious office quickly and efficiently. I can easily hide it under my desk out of site. It has a long cord so no extension cord is needed and different levels of heat.

It's portable,lightweight and easy to use. I am set the timer and it auto shuts off. I use this in my bathroom because it doesn't take up a lot of space like spaces heaters and it keeps the bathroom comfortably warm.

The velocity 1R personal heater has filled all the wants/needs I’ve had in a heater. It keeps my desk area warm, but doesn’t overpower the office so my coworkers don’t complain. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Velocity 1R Personal Heater for my husband personal space in our home. It is the coolest room and sometimes needs help. Space is limited so a smaller heater was a must. It fit perfectly on his stand next to his desk. It's very simple to use with only two settings of high and low with a fan only option as well. I love the 4 hour timer on because well, my husband is forgetful. This option lets you manage your heat output and energy consumption. Another great feature is if it is accidentally tipped over, it will automatically shut off or if it excess heat is detected. It's also pretty quiet and can be mved to different spots easily even when on. It definitely throws out some heat and warms his room up. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado Velocity Personal Heater is just perfect as I live in Florida and we don't get a whole lot of cold weather but, when we do, we don't want to run the furnace and this heater is great for those cold days to take off the chill in whatever room we are in at that time. I like the timer capabilities so that I don’t accidentally walk away and leave it on too long. The outer casing stays cool even after running it a while. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Velocity Personal Heater is a real "winner". It has multiple heat settings, as well as, a fan. The heat is not super hot, but enough to take the chill out of the air. It comes with an integrated handle which is a neat little feature. The settings are on top of the fan and are easily accessible. Just one light touch and the fan changes programs. The operator's booklet contains very good information about this fan and how to reset it, etc, if you were to need to. I'm very impressed with this unit and would definitely recommend it to others.

This heater is awesome and just powerful enough for my at home office. It now has a permanent location. Heats up just enough to be comfortable. Haven't tried the fan yet, but I am sure it will be awesome!

I was truly impressed by how much heat came from the heater, it even has a cool safe case. I love the fact that it has an automatic shut off , if you pick it up , it shuts off . I feel so much safer using this heater , than alot of other ones. I'm definitely going to get a few more for my family members.

It does put out good heat, though. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone unless some style changes were made.
