W. Lee O'Daniel is one of the great unsung Western Swing heroes, having led both the Light Crust Doughboys from 1933 to 1935 and the Hillbilly Boys from 1935 to 1938. This CD collects tracks from both of those outfits and features vocalists Leon Huff and "Texas Rose" aka Kitty Williamson, Western swing's first female vocalist!
