Love the dressings, however this is a disappointment. Odd flavor, not at all what I hoped for, very bad taste, even worse aftertaste. How can the dressings be so great yet this is awful..so gross. Won't buy again.

Disappointing texture, flavor and color.
I had high expectations for this caramel dip based on their calorie free syrups that I have been using. The taste was not that of caramel, and had a chemical aftertaste. The color was not opaque like caramel, and the texture was not smooth but slimy. This product was not edible, and it was disposed of down the sink. I do not recommend that you buy this product, and recommend that Swanson remove it from their site.

I had high expectations for this caramel dip based on their caramel syrup. The taste is not caramel and strongly chemical. Texture is not uniform and not remotely like a caramel dip. Very disappointed.

Worst taste ever
I love, love the taste of caramel and I'm always looking for a good "heathy" alternative to the candy squares so common and plentiful especially during Halloween and the little jars of caramel topping sold near the ice cream section at most stores with sugar and other unhealthy ingredients. When I run onto this productive on your site, I was so looking forward to ordering, tasting and falling in love with it and to use as a topping on everything and have my granddaughters enjoy it with me as a healthy topping on natural ice cream. Well, when it arrived, I was so disappointed because to me it has a very "nasty" taste. I just couldn't even ask them to taste it. I put it in the bottom tray of the refrigerator and there it still remains, always meaning to call and return it. But never found the time to deal with it and just forgot about until I was checking my past orders. I'll have to empty it in the trash and save the jar so it's not a totally loss!!

The consistency is more light a light pudding. It has a cooked caramel flavor, like creme brulee. It has a small sour aftertaste. I prefer it as a flavoring. It was good in cocoa.

Diet Dream
This stuff on it's own isn't very good. But I've found with Walden products, that you have to find unique things to use each of the products for. I use this caramel dip in my oatmeal. I am on a calorie restricted diet and there isn't very much oatmeal in those little packets. I buy the huge containers of regular quick oats and have a 1/2 a cup dry serving which ends up being half a large cereal bowl once you mix it with hot water. I mix in this caramel dip, splenda, cinnamon and sometimes a little PB2 or real peanut butter and its seriously like dessert. I CRAVE it! delicious.

Tasted terrible...and arrived late. Calorie free equals taste free in this case.
