Heather Alexander is the author of many books for young readers. She lives in Los Angeles with her family and beagle, whose full name is Luna May Petunia Baby. They love taking long walks and solving mysteries together.

Laura Zarrin is an illustrator by day and a detective by night. She is often called upon to solve mysteries for her family.
