Part of their Americana Series of classic-looking instruments at accessible prices, the M108SW-K F-Style mandolin offers an extra punch of volume and projects farther thanks to it's deeper body design and tonewood combination of solid carved European spruce top with quarter sawn Sitka spruce bracing and solid carved mahogany body. Giving a little extra warmth and pop to its overall sound is a maple neck topped with ebony. Players with bigger hands will appreciate how the M108SW'S 1-1/4" nut width offers more string spacing than average mandolin. To give it a more traditional, handed-down appeal, Washburn gave it a vintage natural matte finish and distressed the hardware. Includes a hardshell case.Washburn has been building mandolins since the late 1800s.
