The bedspread had some texture added to make it feel more quilt like, but it's the same water resistant feel of a cheaper bedspread. Overall, it's pretty for company. The pillow covers were very thin and the zipper on one stuck and seems very cheap quality, so I suggest caution. Overall, a nice set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Waverly Hayden comforter set has such a pretty pattern and calming blue/green tones. Definitely a design that brightens up a space. I will say the fabric feels a little scratchy compared to what I usually go for since I tend to avoid polyester and microfiber bedding. It’s not exactly the softest option, but the look makes up for it. I can’t comment on the durability as it has only been tossed in the dryer once to air fluff after taken out of the packaging. Funny enough, my parents ended up taking it to their beach condo (after I received it and tested it for a few nights) because they had to toss all their old comforters due to a mold issue, and it actually looks great set up in their guest room. The colors really fit the calming coastal vibe. Overall, stylish and functional, just not my personal favorite fabric texture.

The fabric has a lovely texture – soft yet sturdy – and the pattern is beautiful in person. It instantly elevated my guest bedroom décor, making it feel cozy and inviting for the fall and winter seasons. The comforter fits my queen-size bed perfectly. Personally, I usually prefer comforters that hang a bit longer on the sides, but this one still looks great and definitely doesn’t feel short. The quality also seems very durable – I believe it will last for many years if cared for and washed properly. The comforter itself is lightweight but warm, and the two shams add a nice touch. That said, I do wish the set included two additional pillow shams or at least offered the option to purchase extras separately, since I love styling my bed with lots of pillows for a fuller, layered look. I added some extra pillows to make it more comfortable. Overall, this comforter set is stylish, comfortable, and a wonderful addition to my home.
