Weber Connect Grilling Hub Black

An amazing product to have, used it for years now and it never fails me. Only thing that would make it any better is 2 different features. First being weatherproofing(ip6 or ip7) it gets even a little bit of water on it it mucks it up and you'll have to put it in a bag of rice for a week or more to dry it out. Second is if it came in a wireless probe option.

I wish it came with thermometers. It needs a strong magnet as it knocked off my grill very easily.

First time using last night and it was great. So easy to set up and use. It was great to be able to monitor my cook from my phone. Thanks Weber you did it again.

Super impressed with how easy this is to set up, use, and help cook everything perfectly. Bluetooth and app allow you to continue to cook in the kitchen all well watching the meat on the barbecue. Highly recommend.

Works as advertised. Combined with Weber’s app, enabled me to relax more during the long cook time when smoking meat. Being able to monitor the grill temperature of my charcoal grill enabled me to make minor adjustments to airflow to keep a constant temperature. Also nice to not have to frequently open the lid to check the meat internal temperature. Battery still had about 70% remaining after four hours, so should be good for 12 hours. Could plug in the charger if you need more time.

I like it. It syncs to my weber app so if I am using my smoker I can have both going at the same time. I just wish the probes on the smoker fit this device and vice verse. I would recommend it.

Give this a try. If you cook by feel, like most everyone does, this will enhance your ability.

the meat probe is too thick for a steak, salmon or anything that is less than about one inch. Instant thermometers are much thinner and therefore, better.

Works great. Very easy to use and accurate temperature readings. Have used 1 probe for single meat being smoked, and up to 4 probes when smoking 3-4 meats. Generally use with my pellet smoker, gas grill, charcoal grill and for indoor oven. I also take with me on family vacations.

It has a long range and very high accuracy. Easy to use

This is a great thermometer that could only improve more if it was wireless.

It’s works very well. Long battery life and dirt simple to use. I wish that it was compatible with Bluetooth probes. Sometimes the wires are annoying to deal with.

I'm well experienced with BBQ's, especially with Weber, and am a gadget person. I've long used meat probes for cooking, have a Weber Genesis with built in wi-fi unit for heat probes. Works wonderfully. However, having recently added a Weber Q+ to my BBQ family, I went all in and also bought the expensive Weber Connect Hub. As a meat probes for cooking and connecting to my home wi-fi it works very well. BUT, the hub won't turn off. I've the online user guide (well, extensively searched thier FAQ'S, there's no specific user guide, very lazy of Weber methinks), which claims that it sleeps without probes attached, and the hub can be turned off. But that doesn't happen. No matter what I try, the doesn't swith off, and the battery goes flat overnight. I've gone back to using the competitor products. Reading reviews, it appears that others have this problem.

The probe for reading grill temperature should be integrated with the thermometer on the lid. The app is poorly organized. The recipes are badly written they should give approximate times and be able to be varied by the quantities and thicknesses of the ingredients used. The probes should be wireless. See your competitors!!!

I am now able to monitor and control all aspects of grilling and smoking on the Weber. I can maintain a consistent temperature in the grill while monitoring the temperature of the meat being cooked. So far I have smoked a turkey and a pork shoulder with excellent results and grilled some filets to perfection. A must have for serious outdoor cooking!!
