This has been the only dog food that my spry 15-year-old Bichon & Pomeranian mix has had. We are so pleased with her long-term wellness and comfort. She is happy, healthy and going strong. Thank you Wellness brand for a quality product!

Quality Control..

I have been buying this brand for years with no issue. Recently we have bought a bag of this and the healthy weight formula for our dog and have found wood chip splinters in both bags of dog food. I thought it was only an issue with the healthy weight one so we did this formula and it was fine. The second time around the deboned turkey and oatmeal formula looked completely different than the original. It looks exactly like the healthy weight kibble which is strange because they did not look the same. I don’t know what is going on and if the quality control has changed but this is not a good look for the brand. My dog has had to go to vet because of him eating the kibble with the wood chips which caused him a lot of stomach problems and distress for weeks costed me about 800$ for the vet bills too. I’m considering choosing another brand but I want to give them another chance because they’ve been so good up until now.. hopefully things change and get back to their original quality. I’m going to check every bag I buy now. This one was bought at my local PetSmart. Just lookout for your pets because this is insane. I never thought his food would hurt him like this.

Hi Alex12345, we're very sorry to hear about the experience you had with our product and hope your dog is feeling better. I have a 20 lb cockapoo. Does this constitute “small breed”. She loved the turkey formulation in her puppy food.

I give this to my Boston terriers, Boston's tend to swallow food without chewing and choke. This kibble goes down easy, good size. Also cured their dandruff issues. I highly recommend this kibble and so does Winston!!

Sharp wood looking thing sticking out of food

I’ve been using this brand of food for my dog for many years now , when pouring his food for the day, something caught my eye sticking out of his peices of food . Very sharp, thin, hard peices look to be wood. I noticed my little guy swolling different thought it was just going down wrong on him . Makes sence to why he was doing this now I have sent a email with photos.

Hair lose

I had my Yorkies on this food, over a period of a month I noticed that they were losing their fur. I took them to the vet and was told it's because of the food. I took them off of it and hoping their fur grows back. They are very expensive dogs to have this happen to them.

My Shih Tzu is a very picky eater, this is the only food he has ever eaten consistently. He also has a sensitive stomach and this food has agreed with him well. I would recommend to other pet owners with finicky dogs!

My 5 year old Terrier mix eats it and loves it. It is the food he gets and cannot wait for each meal. The trainer suggested we use it when we got our dog and we have not changed in 4 years.

My dogs have been on Wellness since I got them as puppies!! I tried switching foods one time and it cost me a lot of money at the vet!! They have never had a single problem with Wellness!! I love the ingredients they use and I love that I can trust that what they say is in the food, is actually in the food and not a bunch of stuff that my babies don't need. I would recommend Wellness to anyone!! You can be sure you are giving your babies the best there is!!
