About the Author

Emily Dove is a freelance illustrator in the San Francisco area, where she is easily inspired by the redwood forests, dramatic cliffs, and occasional whale tails. After graduating from the Ringling College of Art & Design in 2007 with a BFA in Illustration, Emily began her career as a designer for American Greetings in Cleveland. Since then, she's enjoyed creating illustrations and custom hand-lettering for children's books, greeting cards, apparel, and anything that utilizes her healthy obsession for picture-making.
