Q: This requires 3 'zinc carbon' batteries (included) and has a power cord. Those batteries are not rechargeable. Does this actually use batteries? Similar like products don't use batteries and are A/C

Kids are obsessed and it's flimsy and doesn't want to stand all the time. When they get their hands on it it's ways falling down and the wire / port was damaged until it stopped working a month and a half in. Cute but cheap design. Kids love it and they live putting their hands on the astronaut. It's just not good quality to be used amd marketed as a children's toy.

The quality is cheap and the stars didn’t even work when we go it. The west and arrow Company would not send us a replacement even after sending a video of the unit not working. The laser button turned the unit on and off so the whole thing was a bust

Awesome till it isn't

I've had this for less than a year. There are two projections, one of static stars, the other moving aurora borealis. It is truly beautiful and fun, until the motor in the moving part messes up and is loud enough to hear from my bedroom. You can turn that function off, and the sound disappears, but that defeats the purpose of this particular product. Bummed
