Westcott® Kids Pointed 5" Scissors with Storage Rack, Assorted Colors, Set of 12

I gave one to each of my three grandsons who are between the ages of 5 and 8, (in a different color for each, of course) and they love them. One of my grandsons is left handed, and he uses it with as much ease as the right-handed boys. I also gave one of these scissors to my daughter and daughter-in- law who are both elementary teachers and they said they cut great and are the perfect size for classroom use. Since these scissors are small but cut great, I started carrying one in my purse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are pretty standard scissors for kids. They are light and easy to handle. They cut quite well through paper and cardboard. A great set for classroom or even to have at home. I have 5 grand kids so these will come in great use.

These are easy for children of all school age to grip with a blade that gets the job done. Beautiful colors are easy to spot during clean up and return to their location. Fantastic find!

They cute really well. The storage rack is very handy and does not take up a lot of room. I will definitely buy more of these scissors next year for my classroom!!!!!!!!!!

They come in several different colors so the students can pick their favorite color. The way they are designed makes it easy to teach cutting skills to my students.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with the durability and functionality of these scissors for little hands especially when handled and shared by groups of early childhood graders, pre-kgn - 2nd. They've survived drops to the floor, kicks along the floors in and out of the classroom and soap & water baths. Curious minds tested them on assorted materials like paper, cardboard, plastic canvas, bottles and lids. Even scuff marks from concrete gave them character and battle scars. Like the stainless steel blades, value and colors. Dry well in a few hours and I didn't have to worry about rust. Would also recommend for adults who need to carry crafting scissors past the TSA agents without getting them confiscated. Also good item for kiddie party swag bags!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scissors are great. Very colorful handles. The handles are wide enough for an adults hand as well as a child's. They are so easy to use. I cut in many different directions and the cut was precise. The points are a bit rounded so I feel they are safe for children to use.
