For over 30 years, Wētā Workshop has been bringing imaginary worlds to life, from film and television to art exhibits and collectibles, all from a little place in the corner of the world called New Zealand. So, when we heard about a fellow New Zealand artist making a splash on the international stage by crafting her own imaginary world, we couldn’t wait to reach out and join forces.
In the twilight of the Underworld, a moment crystallizes in time—a collision of passion and release between two gods as all other thoughts fade away. Their eyes meet in a conversation of unspoken longing and shared fears in this fleeting moment—the first kiss, an affirmation, but also a question of what’s to come.
