Really good for parties with adult beverages, or when you're sleep deprived with your friends at 4 am after binging all the lord of the rings movies.

Fun game. My daughter liked it and has claimed it so she can play with her friends.

It’s fine for what it is. If a bunch of adults want to drink this will work. For everyone else it’s a niche thing.
So much fun!

My friends and I had a great time playing this. We were a little confused on the whole spinning mechanic at first, but once we figured that out, we were good to go. Lots of laughs and lots of drinks were had.
Quick and silly way to keep hydrated or "hydrated."

Very simple game to play, and a lot of fun for a family friendly game night or a group over 21. Spin, stop, and see who needs to drink! In a single game my family each got through a bottle and a half of water, and we enjoyed every second!

Grab a favorite beverage.Grab the game and get ready for some laughs. We learned quickly the size of the sip matters.

Fine for what it is, a riff on drinking games. Not a lot of versatility or use beyond that.
Fun and good idea overall

I thought it was a fun game and easy to play with kids drinking water or juice, teens with soda or adults with adult beverages. It kind of got old quickly though. There’s not much to winning. I feel like the idea of the game is good, the gameplay is good, but how the winner is determined kind of is a let down after all the fun during it. Maybe, once someone wins, they get to dictate who does what for a round between drinks, or something that to keep the game going and make the winners spot something you want.

This was not my favorite EK game. The premise is enticing - a drinking game to be played with a group of friends with the added challenge of strategy. But the rules of how to play the cards and anyone being able to stop the spinner did not make sense (and even less so as the game goes on). We ended up just using the spinner and making our own rules.
Probably more fun with alcohol.

Not a bad game, but probably would be a much better time with alcohol. Unfortunately, I'm on the wagon, so I'll let someone else test it that way. Really easy to figure out for any age.

This is my new favorite drinking game! Super easy to learn and play! Anyone spins, anyone and everyone can stop the spinner, do what the cards instructed. We enjoyed the fact that everyone could participate in stopping the spinner each time if they chose to and were fast enough. Sips kept the pace fun but it wasn't overwhelming. This game didn't bully anyone like a "have you ever" type drinking game so that was greatly appreciated! The cards were silly and doable. Taking it out to play again this weekend at a party. Can't wait!

Fun addition to your set of drink-based games. It quickly feels familiar. If you have a lively group, it’s sure to be entertaining, especially as you get a few spins in.
Good party game, but may need some tweaks

I will preface this by saying that this is really a drinking game, and while you "can" play it drinking something else, you will quickly be bloated without the added bonus of getting tipsy/drunk. But even then, if you are actually drinking alcoholic drinks while playing this game, you also need to take care that you pace yourself and don't go too crazy (you will drink A LOT). This is a fun, "short" (quotes explained later), and social game that requires interaction with other players. The cards that require you to perform some tasks are pretty straightforward, simple, and fun. The main issue lies in that the likelihood/probability of giving/taking a sip (or two). The grids are all evenly spaced out between taking/giving cards and taking/giving sips of drinks. This ends up in a pretty off-balanced proportion of drinks being given out. For instance, there was a sequence where I was supposed to take 11(!) sips in a row. Yes, these are supposed to be "sips", but when the chain of events is so easily stacked like such, you end up just downing a substantial amount of drink. One recommendation would be to change the size of the grids in future prints so that sips are (slightly) less prevalent. Moreover, since the game doesn't end until someone has 3 cards, if no cards are being taken or given, the game can go forever (hence the quotes earlier). Nonetheless, the game was pretty fun overall with simple mechanics that anyone can follow.
A quick and fun party game!

I love the packaging! I know that's a bizarre thing to point out, but it's very well put together. You'll be set up and running in no time, and it's really easy to put away with no fuss. The gameplay itself is just as straightforward as the packaging, there's no tricks to it or anything difficult to handle, just a bunch of interesting cards that are hilarious to act out. All in all I really enjoyed this game and look forward to playing it over and over again!

When it comes to drinking games they usually are kinda dumb or boring, enter : “When sip hits the fan”! It’s clever enough to NOT be boring, simple enough to play several rounds lol. We had a group of people try it out and we were all dying laughing! The cards even the specific ones were applicable to at least one person so no one was spared :) If you have a group that loves to play games, act ridiculous and enjoy a good pour I cannot recommend this enough!!

When Sip Hits The Fan is simple, fun, silly a great source of much needed laughter in these dark dystopian times. I don't necessarily think it's a "family" game unless you want to teach the kiddos that drinking games are a thing instead of them learning that in college where they're supposed to learn that. But for adults - what a riot. You spin the spinner, use a finger to stop the spinner and either get good news or bad news. There are some cards that go with it, but it's super simple which is good when your friends get progressively sloppy- literally, it takes two seconds to learn how to play. I'm giving this four stars out of five because I don't drink alcohol (you absolutely don't need to be a drinker - you could play this game with milkshakes if you wanted to) but my friends drink and after an evenings frivolity, I'm taking care of a bunch of inebriated people while my sides hurt from laughing so hard.

We weren't sure about this game, to be honest... a "hydration game?" Did the world really need another drinking game? As it turns out, yes! You can of course drink the beverage of your choice, and being mid-summer, we started with just water while we got the hang of the game. The spinner works well and is easy to use, and the cards are the perfect type of hilarious. Nothing too cringe-y or embarrassing - things like "end every sentence with 'Over and out'" or "you must narrate everything you're doing as you do it." We had lots of good laughs, even with just water to start! It will be a great party and holiday game - a fun addition to the game closet.

I honestly lost count of how many times I needed to refill my cup LOL but then again, I recommend playing with plenty of table space because it's all too easy to knock over a cup when racing towards the spinner. This is definitely a great party game, and while the box says 2-8 players, the more people you have playing, the more fun it gets! This game can easily incorporate house rules, and I believe (and hope) there is potential for a NSFW edition to liven up the party even more!
