This protein powder has garnered mixed feedback from guests, primarily due to a significant price increase that has overshadowed its previously appreciated taste and value. Many guests enjoyed its smooth texture and versatility in various recipes, such as smoothies and baked goods. However, the recent hike in price has led to disappointment, with some guests seeking alternatives. Despite the concerns, the flavor and ease of mixing remain highlights for many users.

WHY?
I used to love this stuff the taste wasn't bad and yes it's not the best but the price made it worth it, you're doing the same thing that VEGA did they werea much higher quality though and they raised the price and got crap ingredients, GOOD JOB TARGET!!! I now shop here much less.

No longer worth it after massive price hike.
It used to be decent enough... but no longer worth it due to the sudden 30% hike. Bought this for many years, but I'm done. Fewer reasons to go into Target in general these days.

I used to buy my protein from the Walton’s but they jacked their protein prices. I discovered this one and then started shopping more at Target. Target then jacked up this protein. I then shopped less here. Take note Target. Is the 30% increase worth me and other buyers not buying a bunch of other products from you. The Walton’s noticed and came out with a $19.99 protein. I’m back there now.

Cheaper ingredients now at a higher price - ugh
Used to love this protein powder knowing it was made with the cheaper concentrate vs isolate but it WAS a nice budget friendly option. At the price increase, it’s no longer a good value at all. It look cheaper than others but it’s not as high quality so the price is now a rip off. I’ve been loyal to Target with their card and a 360 paid member, but this insane 25% price increase of the $20 size seems like a money grab with the growing popularity now watching daily protein. Sign of things to come if they’ll do this with their house brand overnight? That really concerns me. I’m going to move to a better quality product elsewhere. Target is forever changed in my mind which may seem extreme but so is their price increase of a grocery staple made cheaper and a house brand.

Why Increase the Price? 40%!
Why did you increase the price by 40%? The best aspect of this product was its ingredients at an “affordable price”.

Chalky and flavorless
I trusted the reviews saying how it doesnt have that chalky tatse to it, however I was proven wrong. It has the most chalky and flavorless taste. I wished I had sticked with my KOS vanilla plant based protein powder instead.

Price hike increase was a bad move
It is by far, the best tasting protein powder on the market. With that said, it was also the cheapest....key words, WAS, but not anymore! In one month, it went from $44.00 to $57.00, that's a 13 dollar increase in just one month! That's outrageous! It's bad enough that Target got rid of DEI, and shows they don't care about their customers. But this is another slap in the face! I've been unemployed for a year and having trouble finding work because the job market sucks, I can't afford price hikes like this! If you have a Lidl, go there! They have their own protein powder $20 for 30 servings, which if you get two of them, is $4 less than the original $44 price of this one and an extra 3 servings from the 57 servings.

Yum!
Best tasting protein powder! Tastes like a vanilla milkshake. Easier to mix into liquid than other protein powders i’ve tried, does not have that chalky flavor.

Terrible price increase, no need to buy
Like everyone else is saying, the price hike is ridiculous. I've been buying this protein for years and there's no reason to continue now. Do better target.

Make Your Own Protein Powder
Not happy about the price going from $43.99 in May 2026 to $57.99 in June 2026. I started using this brand a while back, because it use to be cheaper. Name brand protein powders are now cheaper than Up&Up. There are also a lot of homemade protein powder mix recipes on-line I plan on making myself...which is way cheaper. Target is going to lose a lot of business over their rediculous price hikes.

More money for less product
Price increase of $7 from $19.99 AND the container is smaller. Now there's only 23 servings when there used to be over 30. This has been my go to for a long time because the taste is good especially for the value but it's not THAT good.
