Whirlpool 2.7 cu ft 25 Bottle Wine Fridge - Stainless Steel - WHW27S

This fridge broke in February of 2023 after purchasing it in June of 2022. It just stopped working - tried plugging into different outlets, etc. Get what you pay for!

I received this wine fridge as a birthday gift and was disappointed to find that it broke just 4 months later. However, the most disappointing part is that Target would NOT return it because of their 90 day return policy. It was just barely past the 90 day cutoff, but they would not budge both in store or over the phone. Instead they told me to reach out to the warranty company. It has now been two months of going back and forth with the warranty company asking where my refund is (they will only mail it). In addition, we now have to dispose of the broken wine fridge. It would have been much easier if Target would have let us return the item considering it broke after such a short time…

Stopped working after 1 week

The plug to fill the hole where a left hand door swap would occur was broken off. Inside the unit, the temperate dial assembly came out of its place and won't go back/stay in place.

It’s nice looking and quiet. It doesn’t fit 25 bottles if you drink Pinots and other CA reds, which most have a wide bottle style. Also, mine is very cold -bought a small thermometer and have to turn it down to the #1 setting to get it to 55 degrees. (The instructions say to set it at 4, but that was way too cold).

Received as a gift for Mother’s Day and it didn’t work. Had to return to the store.

I love this wine cooler. Very easy to set up. I set my wine cooler to 4. Unfortunately, the cooler doesn't have any lights in the inside. I purchased a remote LED puck light and it's perfect .

If you want to reclaim your regular refrigerator for every day food and your garage “beer” fridge for extra storage and holiday food and still have a place to store wine, this refrigerator is perfect for the price point! It’s quiet. Those that say that there is noise I would say it sounds like a refrigerator in your hotel room when it’s running. Quiet enough to sleep with. Many reviews complained that you couldn’t set the temperature. The dial has numbers one through seven or eight. So I bought a $4.99 refrigerator thermometer at the grocery store and put the thermometer in the cooler. I found if you set the cooler temp between 4 and 5 it comes to about 45 degrees which, per the internet, is the perfect temperature to store wine. Listen, if you’re a wine snob you aren’t buying a $200 cooler. If you’re an amateur wine enthusiast and want to leave the room in your regular fridge for food then this little cooler is perfect.

I've been looking to buy a small wine fridge for a while now and couldn't seem to get everything I was looking for until I found this! It's compact, stylish, has "wood" front shelves and stainless steel door. It looks more expensive than it is and it holds 25 bottles. I tried to include pictures others hadn't shown in their reviews: the bottom shelf, with the wood and metal shown, the way 4 bottles have to sit on top of the 5 bottles on the top shelf to get 25 bottles, the notch where the shelves rest; which is sturdy and provides a resting place when the shelf is pulled out as well. The top shelf can hold champagne bottles instead of 9 regular bottles as it has the most vertical space of all the shelves. The second and third shelves hold 5 bottles each but do need to be pulled out to get the bottles out (which is fine; the shelf is sturdy enough to do so and it has a notch to hold the shelf from falling out). The bottom shelf holds 6 bottles. The fridge arrived flawless; no shipping issues and it arrived in 2 days. It was cold within 2-3 hours of plugging it in. I have it set to the coldest setting (7) and it holds at 39° which is good for me. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to friends. I reversed the door hinge so it opens on the left side and that was easy as well. The fridge is basically silent. It doesn't come "on" very often and when it does; I've only heard it when I was sitting in silence. There are two leveling feet on the bottom front of the fridge to make sure it sits flat on your floor - which is good because I'm in an apt and my kitchen floors are warped.

So disappointing. You cannot set to a designated temperature - like 52 degrees. It’s a glorified dorm room fridge. I’m so disappointed

Holds a Nice amount of wine. Champagne bottles best on top shelf .I own this just purchased this for my daughter

This wine refrigerator checks off all the boxes for what we needed. It is compact but large enough for multiple bottles of our favorite wine and the price was fantastic! Overall a wonderful buy.

I like the cooler overall. But like someone else mentioned it’s tight! I could try to cram 25 bottle in there but, probably wouldn’t be a good idea. In the instruction booklet they give you an example of how to double stack the bottles to get 9 at the top. But there’s not enough room to do that. Single layers only on all shelves and really you can’t get 5 bottles on the shelves either. It’s just too tight. The shelves seem to be close together as well. So I will have to hold the shelf above to get the bottles out. So it’s snug. It cools very well though and the design is nice and I don’t think the noise level is loud at all. It will work for me because we can work with it only holding 20 instead of 25. But if you want something that’s going to hold 25 bottles easily… you might want to make another choice.

Have had this about a week, so far it’s working out great, although I don’t know how you would get 25 bottles to fit, it’s more like 18-20, but it suits our needs.

The box was completely thrashed when it arrived but thankfully the fridge was in good condition and works perfectly to keep my wine - I set it at 4.
