DO NOT BUY!!! The inside pieces of the bed arent finished/sanded so the walls and edges of the wood will cause injury. Ive purchased kiddie beds before and the wood is always smooth all around. I should have gone with my instincts and returned it immediately when the pieces I were pulling out felt rough. The bed frame comes in three boxes that are really heavy. I left the boxes at my front door and brought them in piece by piece. The "slide" part is a flimsy piece of mdf that is similar to the backing of bookshelves and dressers. 2nd red flag but I didnt realize it was the slide until I was halfway done assembling the bed frame. The height of the bottom bed clearance is only 3' so it's not as spacious as the picture. Im contemplating taking apart the whole thing and returning it. If the frame was smooth and finished entirely, Id give it 4 stars (5 if the slide was actually a durable slide). If I do keep it, I'll have to sand down the edges and repaint and replace the slide with a piece of plywood or something more durable.
