I wish it worked out, but it didin't
The globe isn't big enough not even for 4 months old cats and doesn't hold enough litter for the cats to be able to cover their business. This isn't a litter box for someone who wants the litter box to be clean. This hides the mess inside of even in the mechanism and this are is imposible to clean. I have 3 young cats, and this litter box is terrible. It's not an issue of too many cats in one litter box, but the fact that's SO HARD to clean, there isn't enough room or litter in the globe. I watched the cats trying to pee and poop, there isn't enough space in the globe for the cat to move around ,to poop on the litter and then be able to cover it. My cats were 2, 4 months old and the other one 8 months old when we got this, so, small cats when started using it, and even though they were small, they could not not poop on the wall. Pooping on the wall means, poop stains all over the globe, them not being able to cover it, touching the poop with their paws and having poop even outside of the litter. Just a disaster. and again, I watch them trying to use it and gave me anxiety, they didn't have room or litter enough. With 3 cats, I needed empty it the drawer in no more than 48hs or poop start rubbing on the outside of the globe under the shell (it happened, multiple times). Emptying the drawer wasn't an issue but even when once a day we would clean it, and once every two days, we empty the waste, there was still poop and litter inside of the mechanism. Trying to wash it? a disaster. When taking it apart, litter was EVERYWHERE, even the felt inside had poop somehow. If you like to keep stuff clean like us, this doesn't work. I wish I was able to return it, but I was really trying to give it a chance, and it is too expensive and now I can't return it.
