No — these are not compatible with the Litter‑Robot 5. This is designed for the Litter‑Robot 3 and 4. The Litter‑Robot 5 uses a different odor‑control system and cartridge design, so the OdorTrap Pods for LR3/LR4 do not fit or function properly in the LR5.

A: Hello LJ,
Yes, the OdorTrap Pod and OdorTrap Packs can be used with the Litter-Robot 4. Many customers place the pod near or inside the waste drawer area so the odor-absorbing packs help neutralize smells coming from the drawer.
Just make sure the pod or packs don’t block the drawer from closing properly or interfere with the sensors. If you’re using a pod, you can place it inside the cabinet (if you have one) or right next to the waste drawer for best odor control.

No smells at all!!
I ordered this pack of scent killing beads when we ordered the LR4.. I wasn’t sure where to put it, it’s in the side along side of the poo/pee drawer.. drops right in.. we haven’t smelled anything since we got the LR4.. so, worth it!!!

Odor traps
I buy these hoping they will help but they really don’t help that much, I guess my 2 cat just have poop that smell.

Works well
It works well, but the smell of the oder trap itself is way to strong. I wish they made a more neutral smell, or we could purchase different smells.
