A: I am answering my own question because I called the company that makes the Litter Genie and Litter Genie Plus today and they clarified that the standard refill DOES work with the Litter Genie Plus. The standard size refill is the refill consumers are supposed to buy for their Litter Genie Plus after the one it comes with runs out. (They don't sell refills made just for the Litter Genie Plus.)

Q: Does this refill fit the Litter Champ container? I can't find the refills in my local pet store. I didn't buy the container here where I now live so that presents a problem.

A: Litter Genie Refills are designed to fit Litter Genie Pails. Litter Genie Jumbo standard refills fit Litter Genie Standard, Plus and XL Pails. Litter Genie Jumbo refills fit Litter Genie XL+ and Litter Genie Standard and Plus Pails and Litter Genie Easy Roll refills are specifically designed to fit the Litter Genie Easy Roll.

Q: Does anyone know if this fits the PET Genie? ie what looks like the same thing but is meant for dog p**p (I love that Target thinks that word is "inappropriate")... and is no longer sold - at least under that name.

Bags split open and make a huge mess
I have been using Litter Genie for years and never had any issues before now. They changed the bag to a more opaque light blue color and I have had the bags split open all over my carpet 3 times now. I am furious and disgusted.

Great Quality Product
These jumbo litter bags are very durable and strong. I like how they trap the odor inside, especially with two cats in the house. They are easy to install in the pail, last quite a while before needing replacement, and are strong enough to carry used litter outside without breaking.

These bags are high quality and in conjunction with the Litter Genie pail make life so much easier for me as a new cat owner and new Litter Genie Pail owner! Easy to install, are sturdy and strong and trap odour. Havent had to worry about any leakages inside the pail. Easy and minimal effort to pull down the bag when its time for the next load. After having both the smaller refill bag that lasts 2 months and this Jumbo 4 month version, I have to say I prefer this one. Less work for me due to having to replace it just once every 4 months sounds great to me. I will stock up on these in the near future

I am very happy with my purchase of the jumbo refill. It should last me 4 months. I love that the multi fill locks in odours and I don't have to be embarrassed whenever someone enters the room where the little genie is. I also love that because it lasts longer I will not have to repurchase as often which means less cartridge waste. And one last thing. Being able to cut and tie the bags when you want, you are able to toss the bags whenever you like.

Saves a bit of money
The standard refills usually last me a long time, but to save a bit of money I decided to try the jumbo refill. I’ve had it for quite a while now and it’s still going! I was worried that it wouldn’t fit in my litter pail seeing that it’s taller to fit the extra bag, but it just slipped in just like the standard one and you wouldn’t know the difference once it’s installed. Same great quality and ease, I just won’t have to change it as often.

The Litter Genie Jumbo Refill did not disappoint! This continuous refill bag looks and feels thicker than most because it is made with a multi-layer film. It does a great job trapping in odours. I love that it is a jumbo refill and lasts for up to one month for one cat, which is my situation. I highly recommend this product if you have just one or numerous cats.

I purchased the Litter Genie jumbo refills a couple of weeks ago. I am very pleased with how easy they are to assemble and use. I am happy that there is less packaging.and that you can recycle it. I would definitely recommend the Litter Genie system as it's very easy to use and effective against litter waste and odour.

I find that these refill bags/ roll - are a bit thinner feeling than the smaller refill roll. However it's glorious having this amount of refill on hand in the litter genie ready to go. Despite the difference in feel, they are just as great as the smaller refill and work just perfect. I think this is such a great idea and very practical. The litter genie refill keeps me from having to think about making sure I have bags for scooping. I know that I have tons. Very much worth it in my opinion.

Great with smell
These bags are great at trapping smell, my cats are stinky and I haven't had any odour issues when using these bags compared to a regular plastic bag. I also haven't had any issues with the bags tearing, they've held up well even with a lot of waste in them. I also like that the 4 month refill is cheeper than getting the 2 month one, so it would definitely be the one I would choose when looking at all the different replacement options.

These new Litter Genie Jumbo Refill bags are great! They're noticeably thicker than previous versions and do an excellent job at containing odors, even with my three cats. I find them easy to use, and while they might not last quite as long as advertised for multiple cats, the difference isn't significant. Overall, they're an effective choice for keeping litter box smells under control in my home.

I love that I can buy twice the amount of refills and it fits in my litter genie. This will make maintenance so easy to only have to refill a few times a year. The price isn't much more than the standard refill so it's been a great change. So worth it.

Great long lasting jumbo roll
I absolutely love this jumbo roll of bags. One of my favourite features is that you can cut it to the size that you want. It states this one jumbo roll will last up to four months. How great is that?! I absolutely recommend this roll and the litter genie!

This is a great value for your money! I have 2 cats and this will last us a few months! The bags are very strong and durable. We haven’t had any issues with these bags tearing. I’d highly recommend as long as you don’t mind tying the know yourself for the bottom and too to keep it secured.
