Litter Genie Design Pail Cat Waste Container System - 4pc

I was worried that this was a gimmick for an overpriced trash bin, but honestly it’s worth it. I have two kittens (they use the litter box a lot and I’m really sensitive to smells so I literally scoop every time they use it while I’m home). Originally I tried one of those litter bag/scoop things (found it on chewy) for a little over $10– the stink went right through the bag and either made my litter box enclosure furniture stink (because I’d leave the bag in there until it was maybe half full— it was advertised as “stink free”) or, when I threw it out in my trash bin, it would make that stink too. So that didn’t work. Decided to go for this and I havent been disappointed so far— I don’t smell a thing, their litter boxes are clean, it’s easy to use (once you figure out how to take off the top to get to the instructions… that took me a minute and fortunately didn’t break it). I haven’t had an issue with the slider not clicking back in place, but also might depend on the type of litter you use: I use catit pea husk litter which is much lighter than clay litter, so that could definitely help avoid that. Either that or maybe they got defective items. Would definitely recommend.

This is such a frustrating design. The sliding divider (between where you deposit and where the trash is) NEVER stays in place and I have to try to get it stable and mess with it 10-15 times before it will latch correctly. I have another version of this product that has a much better design.

It helps a lot for people who don’t like taking the trash all the time every day this will hold it for a while and u can take it all at once plus it help with smell

The litter genie is a great product for any pet owner! It has worked great for my cat!

I prefer the older version better. The weight of the litter clumps once inside the unit, pushes the drawer out so it doesn’t completely close. Getting the bag replacement cartridge installed has also changed and I dislike the new design.

This has helped us clean our litter more often without the hassle of having to go to our dumpster and toss our cats poop! The scent control feature also comes in handy and really does control the odor from seeping into our small apartment
