These are my favorite and I’ve been buying them forever. I have noticed lately that there’s more of the weird defective ones now where instead of being the crunchy, melty ones that I’m used to I’ll get some sad, deflated, chewy ones. It’s almost like getting a bitter pistachio, they are very off putting. I, however, will continue to purchase and enjoy Whoppers and hope to see the strawberry one come back.

i had multiple packets of whoppers with 2 balls inside, shouldnt it have 3 all the time. It wasnt just 4 or 5 but it was many more. I am so dissapointed. Wish i could get them sent back.

I purchased these while on a camping trip, they were very stale an some even were so hard I could not eat them. I hadn't had these in a long time, then to have crappy ones kinda sucked

We love whoppers they are nostalgic and delicious. These were not - they were harder than any candy. I’ve ever tried, …including hard candies. Something within this recipe or this batch should never have been allowed to be put into a box and sold as WHOPPERS- Tossed into trash!!

Malted-based candies like Whoppers are an old-style early 20th Century candy (ie 1910s or earlier). I love great malted balls (dark and milk chocolate) and things like a chocolate malt. These days, I’m trying to eliminate artificial ingredients from all the food choices I make. While it’s hard to eliminate corn-syrup because of cost reasons, is it possible to eliminate any artificial flavors and use only natural preservatives?

These are good malted balls that give a good taste-you don’t really see a lot of malted products on the market these days. I think molt is a bit of an underestimated flavor.

Used to be obsessed with these as a kid. Just make sure you get a recent bag or they’re a little dry. When I get older bags they tend to be a little hard.

It has been years since I ate a Whopper, but my husband recently brought home a box and I was shocked by the smaller size of the malted milk balls! I guess this is what shrinkflation looks like.
