Wild Planet Wild Smoked Mackerel - Case of 12/3.9 oz

My 18 year old son makes fish tacos with this mackerel before workouts. I eat it on pretzel crackers for lunch daily. Great product.

Good sized cuts of mackerel and great flavor. Perfect with quinoa, peppers and garlic.

I got a can of these as a gift, they were so good I ordered some more.

This is the first time I've ever had smoked mackerel and the flavor is amazing. The fillet is larger than I expected and the texture is firm. Forget about putting it into a recipe, it is just so good just eating it right out of the can. Love, love love it. I'll be ordering more. And the great thing is that it is good for you!

We like and enjoy to eat the Smoked Mackerel because to us it is the best on the market.On top of that Wild Planet has clain fish ,caught in the North Pacific, where the water is lesspolluted. they use Sea Salt and Organic Olive oil. All health products.

I usually write positive reviews when merchants ask for my opinion. In this case I am writing honest feedback on a product that ,I am sure , was prepared with the best intentions but that at some point in the packaging line was not properly selected.I opened the first can and it looked like sludge. No visible meat. Only lumps of dark brown, indistinct, something that tasted like mackerel in oil. Not appetizing at all! I opened the second can and this time there was a chunk of meat that did look like muscle. But too small compared to the picture on the box. The rest of the contents looked the same as the first can.I just opened the third can and it looks like what I would have expected: two pieces of mackerel filet tight inside the can with only enough olive oil .Regrettably, I do not have pictures of the first two cans. I will send pictures if more cans look the same when I open them.Right now, I would not recommend your smoked mackerel. I remain optimistic these two cans were a sad exception and that the rest of the twelve cans I bought will meet my quality expectations.

I love these smoked mackerel fillets. This is my second order of a dozen cans. They are so nutritious and taste so satisfying in a salad or right out of the can. Delicious! I appreciate the great energy this company has towards packing my order, very professional! *and they always include a couple of samples to try other predicts! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Though we use this in various ways the most common is on top of broiled cheese on good bread. To that we may add capers, sliced tomatoes, etc. As I said, a great lunch!

A very tasty and unique flavor and a great way to enjoy mackerel!

This is very good and the smoke flavor is "just right". The only downside is the can is smaller than Wild Planet's other Mackerel. But the flavor is great.

Another great product. This had a more mild taste. Also ordered the smoked salmon filets to try.
