Wilton Dessert Decorator Plus Cake Decorating Tool

Great upgrade from my mom’s (from the 1950’s). One unfortunate thing is there are no tips for thin/small streams of icing. It’s all pretty thick. Still, I’m glad I bought it.

Used it 10 times and the top cracked. Was extremely easy to work with. Can't find it anymore in the store that carried it in The Bahamas

This wa a my favorite cake decorating tool for at least 5 years. It's been slowly falling apart for a little while but I kept using it because it worked so well (even better then the pampered chef one I was given!!) Unfortunately it finally had the last straw and the piping lever stopped all together. Trying to see if I can replace the part or just have to buy a new one. We dont have anymore at the store I got it from so I'm in a hunt.

I've used this product to decorate cupcakes on multiple occasions, and loved the ease of use and professional looking results. I can get 24 cupcakes done in 4 fills of the tube with significantly less mess. However, after about 10 uses over a 2 year period, both the main tube and one of the couplers have cracked. I thought perhaps replacement parts could be bought preventing me from having to throw away the entire setup and buy a new one, but the previous replies to comments and lack of replacement parts on the website seem to indicate that I will have to do that. I'd recommend it to anyone, but with the caveat that you should expect to replace it after what I would consider not very heavy use.

I bought this item for my 11 years old daughter. Easy to use, she was able to do beautiful decorations but the transparent plastic tube broke after a few use.

The coupler cracked on the second use, after I gently screwed it on.

The clear part broke after a new uses.

I purchased this item about 1 year ago and have used it several times. I have made fancy cupcakes, used it on deviled eggs, etc. I was a typical decorator before this kit by just spreading icing, but this kit has helped to spice things up a little bit with decorations. Would like to get additional tips for this. Love it!!!!

I bought one of these with a plastic body and the lbottom broke off of it the 3rd or 4th use. I then bought another one from a local store. It was also a wilton but this one was stainless steel so I thought it would wear well and the lever broke on the second use. I use a lot of wilton products and I am not happy. I emailed Wilton after the first one broke and never received a reply. Now the second one broke. Not Happy!

I love this item but very disappointed that the coupler has cracked. After reading various reviews it looks like this is a common problem. Can couplers be purchased separately?

Bought this to use at Easter. The top kept popping off and the tips are too big for what I wanted. If there were smaller tips would be great.

As I do love this product, it has almost completely cracked in two different places. The plastic is not strong and the plastic thumb piece for piping has completely broke forcing me to push on the end to frost.

I was very excited to use this decorator. I like to decorate my kids cakes for their birthdays and thought this would make the job easier. It worked like a charm and the cake looked fantastic, except the cylinder cracked before I was finished. Very disappointing.
