Wind & Weather Copper-Plated Dual Spiral Hanging Metal Wind Spinner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this wind spinner! It's my favorite. Hung it in the gazebo section of the porch, can see it looking out the window. It's so delicate and moves freely with the slightest breeze. The copper color is very classy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased for my 95-year-old mother who loves to sit outside and watch the birds. She also has a large wind spinner, on a pole, my brother bought for her a few years ago and she loves to watch that as well. She actually asks me to get it out of the shed as soon as spring arrives because she loves to watch it that much. We also have a lot of wind chimes in the back yard, so this particular spiral copper wind spinner is a "happy medium" between the two items. It is smaller, like a wind chime, but it spins instead of chimes. It is very pretty to watch and she is extremely pleased with it. The only "issue"" I have is that I thought it would be a lot heavier than it actually is. The copper is somewhat "thin," but I suppose it can't be too much thicker (or heavier) because the wind wouldn't be able to make it spin. Overall, it is a very nice piece, and I would buy it again as a gift for someone else in the future.

I like them but honestly find them a little pricey. You will need to buy a chain and copper chains are very hard to find, I bought gray and painted it.

Don't know how it will look over time; how much it will tarnish, etc. But for now, after a couple of weeks, I especially like that there is nothing like it in my neighborhood of townhomes. I love it.

But the chain holding the two pieces together and to the hook is weak. It separated and broke loose from the hook in a 25 mph wind gust. No damage to the spirals but I have to find a sturdy wire or chain to replace it.

This is a great spinner that doesn't need a strong wind to move. When the sun hits it, it just glows. Especially, love the look in the autumn garden.
