[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now bought the Lighted Bluebirds twice. I enjoyed the first ones to the point that I decided to take them to my lake house for the summer, where they spent the summer on my porch. Sadely they took a fall right out of the trunk and landed in a hundred pieces. I enjoyed them so much that it was an easy decision to order them again!

I turn it on when it is dark in the evening to provide soft lighting not in direct eye line. The piece is beautiful, and I am partial to bluebirds! I have 3 other similar pieces that are larger, but I needed something small and this just fits the bill!

I had purchased a few cardinal globe lights and a chickadee globe light from other vendors, and loved them, so I wanted a bluebird globe as well, but this product is not what I envisioned. The lights are so weak that the birds are barely visible, and it needs to be placed in front of a white wall or other white structure in order to be able to somewhat see the birds. In addition, the battery pack, which we tried to hide by putting it behind the light, is attached with a cord from inside, which causes the product to lean forward and it doesn't sit straight. There should at least have been a cutout to allow the cord to be placed outside the light. If the battery is put inside the unit, it will show through and looks awful. This product doesn't make sense in the way it is manufactured. We returned it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bird image is a decal on the outside of the crackled glass an is tacky. It arrived wrapped in tissue paper which was stuck to the globe. Wonder how this could possibly be cleaned after sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Purchased for gift giving but couldn't give.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was somewhat disappointed when I actually saw it. The outside is very nice, but the lights are hardly enough to light it from the inside and the battery package is somewhat bulky for the size of the globe.
